Healing priest vs Shadow priests

There seems to be a movement of priests switching to shadow lately, regardless of the expansion coming up.. is having a few shadow priests in a raid ( hell maybe even three of them) going to burdon the healing so bad its just a pain in the ass really? They do go oom a lot faster and looks like we are taking a hit on the healing.

For or against shadow priests in your raids ? Just one? None ? What do you consider the bad points as raid leaders to this ? We are not hurting dps wise and usually we are quite liberal about our players talent builds, we have 3 priests now who have switched.

What has been your best practices regarding this? ( for all raid leaders out there)

( Just a fyi - we will be on a thrid boss in naxx right away)

What I have been able to discern is that the Holy Priest has a clear advantage over the Shadow Priest with respect to healing given a straight spell to spell comparison. That the Shadow Priests Greater Heal spell is only slightly more mana efficient and is actually slower than the Holy Priests smaller Flash Heal. These differences are small in number, however the Holy Priest is effectively just as efficient using Flash Heal as the Shadow Priest is using his BIGGEST heal.

I'm a warrior and have been tanking since day 1 so would like some thoughts on this from some other raid leaders and especially those who know the priests very well.

In most (current content) fights, a holy priest > shadow priest. Anyone who raids to any extent knows this, so creating a thread here hoping someone will invent some reason to defy this well-accepted logic (or reiterate it as I've done) is dumb.
