I've seen the question 'will pallies and/or warlocks get a free flying mount' asked a few times without answer, and an admittedly quick search of the forums here was unrevealing, so to correct both here is the most recent word on the subject:

What about flying mounts? Will they operate in the same way was ground mounts, in the way you buy them...?

Frank Pearce: Yeah, that's the plan. You buy them from vendors, there may be some prestige drops from certain instance bosses and some PvP rewards as well. And Warlocks and Paladins don't get their mounts for free anymore.


I'm not sure this qualifies for a thread of it's own, but it may if others have similar TBC-mythbusting info to offer. If you do, please post.
