No. The base mod Cartographer is just a world map modifier, removes fog of war, makes the map scalable, etc. Then you can add some plugins for it that will do things like mark locations of gathering nodes. For the BC stuff someone released a plugin that puts little notes on the map with the names of all the locations that the BC quest NPCs send you to - so it shows the names of all the places that don't have a name-tooltip from the map itself. It makes finding your way to a quest area much faster. "Let's see, go east till I find the ravager camp... ah ok there's the ravager camp marker on the map, let's go"

What plugin is that specifically? I need to flag it in my WowAce updater :)

I highly recommend group running the quests in zangermarsh or Terokkar forest (yellow at 62), these area's were silent yesterday evening and me and a paladin 2 manned about 8 quests inside 20 mins at cenarion thicket / the alliance outpost to the south, without seeing another soul around midnight. The lag did start to hit pretty hard about earlier in the evening, around 8pm in ZM so I tried to focus on easy group questing with my guild group for an hour or so until it returned to normal. Make sure you pickup the wanted quests from the cenarion camp for 2 very quick quests as you go around ZM.

I also recommend running around as a big pack, we 5 manned ~30+ quests yesterday by sticking to kill quests / easy pickup ones / single named mob kills (We stole a few from the opposite faction, sorry guys but safety in numbers) and we managed to keep everyone happy by not spreading out and going ahead of each other.

All a bit moot now, seems that enough people zoomed in levels to make it actually possible to quest without *too* much troubles. Also found a new area with some more quests which is helpful =). Ill spend tomorrow just grinding instances and come back to the quests once I can't gain any more rep from just killing instance mobs.

I also went to terokkar forest and could only get 2 quests, entirely possible I went to the wrong place (only place I found was Shattrath) and there is some small camp with more quests, either way I think 62 is pretty easy to do in instances, so ill do that first. also a bit sad I replaced my first aq40 gear at lvl 61, and saw a 60 cloak better than cloak of firemaw =/.
