I currently play a rogue, but am completely sold on rolling a hybrid class to heal in 5-25 mans, but I'm having a lot of trouble deciding which class to play? I haven't seen much of shaman healing since I play alliance, but was hoping someone would have insights to the pros and cons of each.

Come 2.0 shamans have gained their very own way of healing, it's quite distinct from a priest, you're using chain heals, healing stream totem, earth shield on the tank and only bring out the big heals when there's some serious focus dps on the tanks, on bosses and such. I have to admit I like this a lot, it's quite different from pre 2.0.

I don't know much about paladin healing, but that's my point on shaman healing anyway.
