I honestly don't understand how these things are measured. Take Uldum for example which Brando talked about. We have only 15,000
people on this realm. That's half what some of the realms have. But we had 500+ queue a few weeks ago. They've gone down but we're still looking at a 20min queue time tonight (150ish). How can we get queues that size - the way these things work if we're queued for half an hour at 15,000 people then a realm with 30,000 would project out to have day-long queues. It doesn't make sense.
With respect to the threatened realm split, quite honestly I think we have too few people on the
Alliance side to support many end-game raiding guilds - I shudder to imagine trying to build one on the Horde side. And if we do a realm split it doesn't really matter what the A:H ratio is. If there are less than 2,000 Horde players on each new server (there are less than 4,000 total now) you can kiss any hope of raiding good-bye. The ratio is meaningless, its whether you have enough in absolute numbers.
