My favorite change in 2.0.3 is definately how they added BC loot tables to mobs over level 60. You can now go and farm the level 68-70 mobs around Karazhan for level 66+ BoEs along with the new tier of potions and netherweave.

I was shown http://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?image=epicgunmu2.jpg but I am not sure of the validity of the picture. I only managed to find about 7 greens while there tonight. Also the NPCs in front of Karazhan now sell the reputation rewards but it is still impossible to actually get reputation.

Rogue in our raid tonight got similar results with his 8/8 Bloodfang proc when he had a tree druid in his party.

He is not assasin spec, so he doen't have that + to himself being healed talent.

Devs: Our nerfs will block out the sun!

I noticed something similar to this during World Dragons today. The paladin who was applying JoL had a tree form druid in his group, so I'm assuming that caused it.

The tooltip for the base spell updates when you pick Improved VE, so it's still 20% improved to 30%

Undocumented, but clearly the most important change. 6 Demon bag has had its cooldown reduced to 3 minutes! This made me far more happy than it should have done.

The Druid Tree of Life get changed so that it now affects healing recieved by party members, not healing done any more

so if there was a druid in your group you would expect all of your healing taken to recieve quite a buff. Might be one expanation?

It seems to be possible to assault flags in BG using far sight as of this patch.
Horde has been abusing this quite much just in the las AV match with Shamans, unknown to me if Hunters can do it as well.

*Very* annoying, seeing nobody at the flag, not in stealth, not as ghost wolf, and yet the graveyard is being assaulted.

If a mob targets you before you target it, it's unit frame doesnt show. Using default UFs.

I heard rumours say it is related to CTRA.

Quick recovery, Tree of life, and Sanc aura do not explain JoL at level 60 going from 61 healing to 251 or 95 to 251 if it was the level 69 seal.

Anyone else getting weird CHAT_MSG_SPELL_BREAK_AURA errors in their chatlog after this patch? I get it everytime an effect is removed from someone (either dispelled or a CC being broken). I've tried turning some addons on and off but I can't seem to find the source.

Example: (this is all in red and in my chat window): CHAT_MSG_SPELL_BREAK_AURA: Pantheon's Thorns is removed by Vangsö's Dispel Magic.

We can't access outlands as it is right now, or the blood elf city, or draenai's. That doesnt have anything to do with the client, but whether or not you are "flagged" for TBC content.

As long as you can upgrade your account to TBC status, you should be able to make do with the BETA client just fine.

I believe it's because they're a new to Beta type of spell event, and an old addon that handles combatlog traffic is not parsing them correctly.

On the subject of unusual bugs, I found out by accident yesterday that I could dispel the debuffs from dueling Alliance players as a Horde priest. This was on a PvE server at the Dark Portal...

A human warlock and human paladin were dueling there, and by accident I dispelled the paladin when he was feared... And it removed his fear. Curious, I watch as the warlock fears again, and this time I dispel him again. Next fear I just let run and I then waited for the warlock to use some DoTs, I ended up dispelling all of those too.

The paladin than walked up to the Warlock and used Hammer of Justice, so I decided to see if it was just a bug with that one player and tried to dispel the warlock and I removed Hammer of Justice from the warlock.

This was with all players involved not being PvP enabled, and I only tried it with Dispel Magic. I should probably have tried whether I could cast healing spells or buffs on them too, but I didn't think of trying at the time. Also if the official forums are to be believed I upset the order of the universe by making a paladin defeat a warlock in a duel.

The abilities you list have a very important difference: They do initial impact damage which means that they are useable on mobs there is immune to the secondary effects.

There is a difference between being directly immune to a specific move and being immune to a secondary effect of the move (Frost Shock Slow, Hamstring Slow, Intercept Stun) that deals direct damage. In this case Lacerate doesn't deal direct damage and threat is therefore not applied.

Me and a friend plays alliance alts sometimes when we're bored. Anyway, we were out questing and we find this horde player at the same place. Being honourable horde originally we help him out when he's in trouble. My friend is pally and uses Judgement of Wisdom on the mob (I'm caster and like the mana :>) and afterwards we checked the combat log, and saw that the horde player got mana by hitting the mob too.

Seems like the judgements/seals doesn't care about faction boundaries, even less party.

So, probably one of the pallies in the screenshot had debuffed the mob and the troll warrior gets healed :>


edit: Actually, looking at the screenshot again. It's far easier :> They are lvl ~70 and probably has a pally in the group (isn't that BoK on the buff bar?)

I think you missed the point entirely. SEAL of Light is the self-buff only Paladins can get, supposedly, and yet the Troll Warrior is getting healed by it, and not Judgement of Light.

BTW, i have come crazy theory about it. According to Slouken (http://blue.cardplace.com/newcache/us/63757216.htm) name lookup function in base UI is borked. Could it be that Seal of Light piece of code uses that lookup, gets the name of warrior instead of paladin and behave accordingly ?
