I noticed another bug recently, in that the Water Elementals spell isn't castable via /cast, whereas say Hunters can do a /cast Bite (and I assume Warlocks can do the same). With the bugged out pet bar, it could be nice to be able to macro these spells instead (though remapping keys via the standard Keybindings menu is "ok").

Are you sure that you have the spell name correct? IIRC, there was a patch that specifically adressed the renaming of 'Frost Nova' to 'Freeze' to allow it to be macroed.

I tested it with Waterbolt, thinking there might be something wrong with Freeze/Frost Nova, but neither spell worked.

You can use /click PetActionButton5 (for Freeze) and /petattack (for Waterbolt), so there's not really a big problem.

As I just respecced to frost for leveling up, I couldn't help but notice another, very annoying bug with the water elemental.
When you're casting something, say frostbolt, and click on freeze or press the key for it, and then finish your cast before you cast your water elemental's freeze, the selection circle disappears and you cannot start casting anything else until you move.
Meaning you always have to time your freeze so that you don't finish casting anything while trying to select the target area.

Am i the only one who thinks that the nerf was pvp related and not pve ? We once totally destroyed an alliance azuregos kill (they had him down to 20% or something, their third try or so as well harhar) by our 3 or 4 mages, who blinked in right after his teleport then blastwave and AEd all the clumped up 40 people to hell and back.

Same thing happens albeit on a bit smaller scale (and not as drastic) in each and every AV i've been in.
Its so rare in PvP that this would happen. Azuregos is a very good example though. But even in AV there are really not many timers you will be hitting 10+ people. Maybe when they are fighting your general, but thats about it.

I think the PvP issue might have nudged it along, but it was 95% done to stop mages Aeing huge packs at higher levels for exp/rep/loot etc.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.
The only problem is, it's often an incoming train.

Okay, so, rank 12 frosbolt has lower damage and costs more mana than rank 11. Obviously well known "bug" and all, question is: how does something like this make it to live?
