Where do I get this quest? I have checked every quest hub in netherstorm and I can't talk to any of the consortiums to get a quest. I still have some other netherstorm quests just not with consortium, but i would rather focus on getting keys first, is there any other pre reqs to the arcatraz key line that anyone knows of?

Depends, it's easy to get caught up in steps since it's a pretty long chain of quests. However, if you've gotten to the event with the prince where the guys come in and he one shots them, he'll leave temporarly through a portal type thing, then respawn with a quest that will take you to Shrattrah

http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10269 as far as I recall is the starting point for the key. You get all 3 points then get sent to Shattrath.

Are there pre-reqs to this quest?

Yes.

I'm going from memory here, so don't tar and feather me if i add or miss a step.

1) Area 51 -> Quest from an ethereal that will be to collect 10 of some sort of things on the ground near by, this will send you to step 2, or unlock it. One of the two.

2) Eco-Dome Midrealm -> Another ethereal that will ask you to collect 10 boxes of surveying equipment that i THINK is located near a manaforge, the quest will explain!

3) Stormspire -> Triangulation series. 2 Different quests that will send you to two various points of the netherstorm.

4) Kill a named demon also located near by in the Netherstorm.

Then you'll talk with the nexus prince, and he'll give you the follow up at shattrah where you obtain the key quest.

Here's another puzzler: I have the quest Deathblow to the Legion (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10409), which is an Aldor quest that I gained after finishing the various Shutdown Manaforge Xs; I came to this quest series late, having finished most of the zone without declaring my allegience. I then came back at 70 and completed all the way through to Deathblow.

A guildy, however, isn't getting any quests after the final Manaforge Shutdown. He's also 70. I thought it was reputation - I was Honored, he was just short - but that turned out not to be it. I'll update when we figure out which other quest I've done that he hasn't unlocks Deathblow.

edit: There was an Aldor quest from the small camp near Manaforge Ara that he hadn't done.

From those with Karazhan experience, how are people handling the Skeleton Ushers?

They are absolutely insane! What we ended up doing, was using misdirection on me (a rogue) and I'd run to the ent with sprint and kite one add while we killed the other. How are other people doing these pulls?

It'd probably be easier with a better raid makeup, we're 2mage/2druid/2hunter/2priest/1rogue/1warrior. Working on slim pickings, most people are slow with their attunement. On a lighter note, the trash past the Opera event is much better. I especially like the curator's trash, because we have 2 polymorphs/2sleeps.

This is correct, I was wondering where to start this chain earlier today, did the 10 boxes of surveying equipment which is near Manaforge Duro (mt?) and I got the quest from the prince.

I have just finished the Arix'Amal kill, and closed the gate. I handed the quest in and only then did Nazgrel give me Cruel's Intentions.

I suspect it's been hotfixed to have a pre-req now of the Forge Camp mini chain and does not simply start from the Legion Missive. Of note was that having previously turned in the missive Magister Bloodhawk did not have a followup for me, but now having turned in Doorway to the Abyss he does have a quest for me to kill Terrorfiends in the Pools of Aggonar.

which personally opened up for me after the blademaster quest line. (I had already done the murkblood quests and demon hunter chain)

What I haven't figured out yet is how to get to http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=10175 which I'm assuming leads to http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.ht...US;source=live reward and the others already posted on the 2nd page.

All I have left is "Auchindoun..." in Auchenai Crypts dungeon quest which might finally open it for me ill update with results later.

I'm quoting because I'm in the same boat. I'm on the "Speak with the Greatmother" chain (gathering plants, killing orc ancestors, and final boss in crypts) - can someone confirm that this is the same chain that results in Hero of the Mag'Har?

I just did this last night. The chain that starts from the greatmother does indeed send you to Thrall in Orgrimmar.

The Lore is quite good in this quest, I wouldn't skip reading any of it.

Marcus Auralion <High General of the Sha'tar> there's this dude trapped inside a crystal of some sort in the Crimson Sigil place in Shadowmoon Valley. I'm wondering if there's any quest chain leading to this guy? I'd die for some extra Sha'tar rep.

See a few pages back for discussion on that. You need to kill some big elite demon guy for a drop to start the Crimson Sigil quest.

Came across a quest today with one reward that jumped out at me: [Slayer's Axe]. It's the return of Nightfall!

The quest is the final one (I think) from the Aldor town in Shadowmoon Valley; WoWHead indicates that there's a similar quest from the Scryer town there. After doing some mundane solo stuff in the zone, you're asked to unleash an elite demon upon the Blood Elf demon-hunters in training. You're then sent over to Altruis in Nagrand, who sends you off to summon and kill demons in Netherstorm, Zangarmarsh, and Shadowmoon again. Finally, you pick up a book from the 2nd boss in Shadow Labs and then you'll receive this quest. Haven't attempted it yet.
