Sorry, whats great about the [Power Infused Mushroom]? Assuming a kill every 20 seconds then 1up will 600 hp/mana every minute or 1800 every 3 minutes. Better than [Warmth of Forgiveness] I agree which will yield 860 mana every 3 minutes fixed, but still a quick food/bandage/drink after a fight will yield much more and there are better +dmg/AP/etc trinkets to take up a slot and get kills faster.
If 1up had +hit in addition to the mana regen then yes it would be clear cut winner but I'm pretty much ready to vendor mine, unless I am missing something.
The 1up mushroom saves you 1.2 seconds of drinking per kill. If it takes you 15 seconds to kill a mob, you've just saved as much time as a 7.5% increase to your damage would -- which is significantly more than you'd be able to get from a damage trinket. (It also saves you a completly trivial amount of money, and gets you closer to the stage where you can just ignore your mana because it regens as fast as you use it, which shadow priests can hit.)
I'll confirm you need friendly to get the 1up mushroom quest from Sporeggar, oddly enough was just finishing that when I ran into your group outside the entrance last night. /tickle yourself... :p
Seems you only need neutral if you're alliance, and friendly if you're horde then..? Strange.
And it wasn't my group killing you, my group was zoned in at the time :p I came out to show one of our guys which of the 4 entrances to use.
Unless they were changed from beta, the Thrall quest in Nagrand (discussed earlier in this thread, becomes available after completing basically all Mag'har related quests in Nagrand) yields the following rewards:

Is there an alliance version of this quest? Because those plate legs are sexy as hell.

I'm Horde and I got the quest at neutral.

I could've sworn I was standing in the Sporegarr village, looking at the NPC who gives the quest and he had nothing for me. I went to the Glowcap hand-in NPC, dinged friendly, came back out of the hut, and the NPC now had the quest for me to get the Black Stalker's brain.
as for netherstorm, before you come here PLEDGE YOUR ALLIGENCE to either aldor or scyers or your going to miss a massive chain, this can be done by doing the silly escort in shattrath and talking to khadgar.
Lemme ask a really stupid question here. As alluded to in the Reputation thread, in a moment of horrible lag I misclicked and pledged Scryer when I wanted Aldor. I've been grinding spider venom sacs to get them up to neutral. Did I shoot myself in the foot here, or does the quest you are talking about count for your current alignment with the factions, instead of the faction that you happened to pledge to originally?

The massive chain requires friendly rep. Pledging gets you friendly.
[13:49] <manly> buu: RIGHT NOW, ALL THE DATA WE HAVE IS 7.3% MULTIPLIER

Things to do for tanks; at level 65, Pick up a crapload of "of shadow protection" gear from the ah. Go to Sethekk halls with a good group with decent cc options. (I just did it with holy pally, rogue, hunter, mage, feral druid (me) ) all 65, except the pally, at 64. grab the quests, clear the instance. Mark of the revanguard is.. Very very good ;) 40 sta, 17 defence rating.
the offhand doesnt suck either.

Are you sure you were high enough level for it? I know I'm friendly, level 62, and have no quest available for it, although I see several silver exclamation marks about town.

99.9% sure.
The NPC didn't have the silver exclamation mark, he had nothing. As soon as I hit friendly, he got a yellow question mark. I mean I literally walked into the hut, turned in the Glowcap, got friendly, walked back out and the quest was available.
Or sleep deprivation is doing weird things to me :)
I found a lot of quests to be tied together in some manner that is not readily apparent. I figured they were reputation based (and not just neutral<friendly<honored), but perhaps there are many that require other quests be completed and have no indication as such... /shrug

Not that I was made aware of.
Hey at least you guys get Talbuk mounts as well ;)

Isn't Shattered Halls lv70? Sethekk Halls you meant, maybe? Gotta check that out soon... I need more stam badly.
I really need to get that Forge Camp: Mageddon quest done. The dynamic respawn rate seems so crappy there. Perhaps there are so few spawns that even 5 people can make that place frustrating, but I dread going over there each time I log on. My ADD and OCD are in constant conflict at that place.
Maybe Shu'halo (not in the profile section yet, but that's my current server) has the "insanely accelerated" version of the dynamic respawn rate.
Our problem with the Forge Camp quests is basically that everything respawns within seconds of death, nameds especially (before you have a chance to loot the body, on occasion; on the advice of a guildy, I pulled the Invasion Point guy away to kill him, and I observed him respawn even as I picked up the quest item from his body, well before I could click the thingy to complete the quest).
The Hand of Kargath and his guards were similarly on instant respawn mode, which resulted in the Hand and one guard respawning on top of the sapped guard before sap wore off from the first pull. Good thing we had to kill him three times anyway (whoever made that quest item only drop for one person at a time...).

I'm blaming sleep :)
Just checked on the wife's shaman, she war neutral and could get the quest. I had the quest giver NPC mixed up with the [Everlasting Underspore Frond] quest giver. _That_ one needs friendly :D

Is there any more information available for this quest? I have done absolutely everything in Nagrand and I cannot get this started.
My bad, I did mean Sethekk halls. Which is a very good instance, by the way. a lot of 5 mob pulls, but they are very crowd control friendly - 2 undead, 2 humanoids, and a beast is typical, so any 5 man that has 5 classes in it can lock each pull down completely.
Incidentially the new improved sap seems to be the best crowd control ever. In two full clears of an instance with mobs of +4 levels (the pally dinged 65 as we exited the instance pretty much, so we turned around and did it again) I did not see sap break early once, and we did have wipes to all our lovely cc evaporating under the harsh glare of heartbeat resists.
Also, when blizzard said they were not going to do more resistance fights? Full of it. The first boss (going around the halls clockwise) is almost entirely shadow damage. first boss of mana tombs? Shadow damage. Last boss of crypts? Shadow damage. Go camp your local AH now, a full set of "shadow protection" greens is a great investment.
I thought Blizzard merely implied they wouldn't be doing any more resistance fights which involved grinding lv50 5-mans... I for one couldn't imagine Kael'Thas without some fire component of some sort, or Lady Vashj without forked lightning... that was their in-game persona in TFT!
We do know Aldors/Scryers have complete FR/AR/SR blue sets, and Shattrah turn-ins can yield an epic FR set.
If you are looking for Bladefist's, you don't need to do any of the camps or cannons. I did Path of Anguish so that I got sent to Expedition Point, went from there to Shatter Point for the flightpath, and then simply hopped over to Invasion Point: Annihilator and killed the named. I suppose I could have practically ridden straight to Annihilator rather than fly to and fro. Anyway, he dropped the note that starts the quest named "Overlord" whose reward includes Bladefist's. So, yeah, I can now get Bladefists and I didn't have to do the heavily contested overseer guy or all the peons/cannons.
Is the Legion Missive drop guaranteed?
I just did this on my druid, having not done the previous camps and nothing dropped off the named at Invasion Point: Annihilator.

Since they removed the hearbeat resists for sap in 2.03 it has become a very good CC indeed, although you need to kill the non cced targets quickly. I went to the manatoombs yesterday with another rogue, a mage, a tank and a priest. Was a lot of fun and our CC was incredible.
Can we get some info on the must-have quest lines that while seemingly ordinary, actually lead to instance quests? For example in Netherstorm there's that quest from Area 52 where you get an arch mage staff and you summon him at every step to turn in each quest. Turns out that after 7-10 steps he asks you to go to a Tempest Keep instance, so that's a good thing to do. Also the Mount Hyjal quest starts at 70 from a roaming NPC down in the caverns of time. Any other key / instance quest to know about?

On my troll Shaman the Missive dropped from Razorsaw, while for my alliance priest it dropped off of Arix'Amal (in the last forge camp).
dinged 70 yesterday afternoon, as for netherstorm, before you come here PLEDGE YOUR ALLIGENCE to either aldor or scyers or your going to miss a massive chain, this can be done by doing the silly escort in shattrath and talking to khadgar.
Also of great importance is that the quest chain for The Arcatraz key is this questline in Netherstorm. It begins with your respective rep and leads to a few Triangulation quests. Eventually you get sent back to A'dal who gives you the Arc key quest(which is to complete a Bot and Mech run). (Note: I'm Horde)
The Arcatraz door is similiar to Scholo, only one person needs to ability to open it for the entire group to gain access. A rogue with max level lockpicking can pick the door.
Gained access to Arcatraz is necessary to complete your Karazhan key so you'll want someone to have access.
That is incorrect, I went to Netherstorm without pledging my allegiance and left with level 70 and the Arcatraz key quest. I went back this morning after reading this thread and picking Aldor to do the questline; so far it's gotten me to a step where I'm collecting teleporter pieces to go after one of the demon lords (why can't I just fly to his island?). Maybe it goes to an instance quest after that, but the Aldor/Scryer quests are definitely NOT required to get the Arcatraz key quests.

Make sure you do the escort in Sunspring Post, and the dropped one from the three patrollers on Elekks as well. Then you need the entire Ogre chain(s) completed as well as every Garadar quest (even the wanted posters ones). Once you get a quest regarding the Orc graveyard and spirits and stuff, you're on the right way, basically, but I don't have a complete questline. I just did all the stuff in beta at the 67 cap when there was nothing to do and hey presto, extra quest.

A couple additions:
- Durn the Hungerer is not needed. I got my horns on Saturday morning and hadn't done the Durn quest.
- The start of the Ogre chain includes a quest that gets put in the Terokkar Forest section of the quest log. On beta I let that one get lost in mix and had to track it down before I could finish the questline.
