WoW Ace Updater not advisable for European WoW Versions?

So I downloaded and ran WoW Ace Updater and after firing the game up again it reported an Issue with "Fubar 2.0 Locale enUS a nil value" and subsequently failed to load up any Ace2 based addon. Reinstalling the Fubar 2.0 Version from wowinterface.com produced an incompatibility issue, meaning I have to reinstall all Ace2 addons manually from wowinterface.com :/

Is this a know issue or am I just stupid?

Alternatively find someone with some addon coding experience to fix the issue. If you don't know any, jump on wowace irc and tell someone to fix it. If I wasn't stuck away from WoW for the next 4 days I'd look into it myself.

I'll go report it to the author of the latest REV once I have a chance, but it is perfectly safe to use, just someone will have messed up the LUA file on the latest REV, what I would suggest doing is going to the Wowace.com site and download the latest rev of the Fubar addon, as these things tend to be fixed quite quickly.

Thanks for the answers. I know that the versions you download via WoW Ace Updater are beta versions, and was just wondering if the regional incompatibility issue is something that regularly occurs. Apperently it's not I have just been unlucky :)

It hasn't happened to me yet and I 've been using the updater for some month now. Imho a very nice tool, makes updating all the addons much more relaxed (unless the wowace server is taking to much traffic).

I wonder, is there some way to tell the updater to get the addons not from the beta site?
