I hit 70 in shadowmoon and did all the netherstorm quests, the gold was about tripple what my 69 cohort was getting. Up to 2500 gold alkready after getting the normal flying mount, and buying a few jewelcrafting patterns at a 'bargain' of 100g ish each.
As a rule of thumb, just about every quest (other than simple "walk over there and talk to so and so") gives 11g. 22-24g if said quest involves going to an instance.
It feels like this was nerfed in 2.06. I had been questing at 70 for quite awhile, the entire time rarely seeing a quest reward below 10g. Most rewards since 2.06 are roughly 7g, if they are a simple bread and butter do this do that here's your exp quest (no item, no group tag). Seems like they shaved 30% or so off the conversion rate, because they were alarmed at how easy it was to gain gold at 70.
I got something like 1600g off of Terokkar and Nagrand quests.
Still have Blade's Edge, Netherstorm, and Shadowmoon. :)
I can see you mein Flying Epic!

What is the most important thing to you? Won't you grant me the pleasure of taking it away.

Ah, so I'm not the only one seeing this? Did a dungeon quest last night that only awarded 9g56s (The Book of Fel Names) as well. Wish I had more quests left I could do with some lvl69 friends to check, but it does really feel like I'm getting less gold now than from the quests I did just after dinging 70.

It seems they cut the ratio in half.
Would be bad regarding the fact I am not even in range of 70 right now due to university.

At least the high level quests gives me the same amount of gold than pre 2.0.6. The end quests of long chains are still giving almost 24g each, the easier ones almost 12g. The nerf might have hitted the lower level quests only, which is not bad thing after all.
Lightwell object increased in size to make it easier to click.
For the crystal powder turnin in Halaa, at 70 do you gain more gold than previously due to the conversion? Been meaning to try this myself but Halaa has been horribly bugged the last few days so nobody wants to fight for it lately.

No, the quests I was referring to were all level 70 Netherstorm or Shadowmoon quests. Keep in mind, on those large chain enders, the quest itself has a cash reward of upwards of 15g sometimes (including the item you receive or whatever). So you're still only gaining around 7 to 10 gold via the conversion, I believe.
This is correct. For many normal quests in Netherstorm, I get 11 gold 48 silver, when according to the various sites the reward at pre-70 is 4 gold 10 silver and 12300 XP. (1148 s - 410 s) / 12.3k XP = 60 silver per 1k XP.
I don't think that the conversion rate is halved.
The examples you noticed are probably from "lower level" quests that would give you half experience.
Getting half experience results in getting half the gold from the conversion.
