Here on Zuluhed, Alliance can not take Halaa/Nagrand because only 14 of the 15 guards spawn, and you must take all 15. Is this a problem on other servers as well?

I haven't seen this issue, I've only actively taken Halaa once though during the level push, where there were not many people in Nagrand yet. But when I go there now, I often see it in either Horde or Alliance hands (though mostly Alliance, PvE server and all).

We've had some complaints about this on our realm forum, from the horde side though. No idea whether it was fixed, but I think Halaa was horde controlled yesterday, so I guess so.

It's alleged that a GM comes in and "resets" it every once in a while, but every time I go out there, the alliance has control and we're stuck at 14 guards.

Halaa is constantly bugged on Blackrock, with the counter showing -3/15 guards left on a few occasions.

On Frostmourne 75% of the time Halaa is alliance controlled with 2/15 guards left but no where to be found. I asked a Gm to check if they were purely bugged, invincible, under the world and respawn/despawn etc but they refused and an hour later was still bugged.
Damn guard's in Botanica still bugged too

Yep...PVPed there for two hours last night, Alliance controlling and guards stuck at 14/15 and nowhere to be found. Pretty frustrating.

It's been bugged since day 1 on EU Dentarg, but the GMs here admit it is a bug, and sometimes come along and fix the issue, but 90% of the time the place is under Alliance control :)

Not sure what the current status is, but I spent a few days questing in Nagrand last week and it was almost always alliance controlled with 1/15 guards remaining. I think horde could only take it when the server reset or a GM manually did something.

Medivh is having this problem as well. The horde cannot take Halaa at all.
It's obviously a shame. I had a ton of fun on the beta servers with Halaa; incidentally, even if it were working properly, the alliance:horde ratio is so crazy that the horde wouldn't be able to take it anyway.

I think it was mentioned in the "Defending Halaa" thread, but is this the same problem that happened on Beta? If so, 5ish mages could usually find the bugged guard under the world somewhere and AE him to death. Well, so General Chat claimed, I'm no mage.

Halaa on Magtheridon seems to be working fine, or at least was when I was levelling there a few days ago. It was changing hands fairly often.

Also, the guards have something around 1.1 million hps (the fire ticks of 1% are like 11k) so even if you could find them, itd take forever to actually kill them.
But yea, on Deathwing its the same deal where the allys usually have 1/15 left for hours, and eventually GMs do come and fix it. Then 20 min after the horde caps, the allys have it back and the whole cycle repeats.
Only seems to happen to the alliance here though....imba imba!

This has been happening since the day they introduced Halaa. Annoying that it still isn't fixed. Also, it happens both ways, or at least did on test.

Halaa is a good example of why I don't think blizzard read all the bug reports from beta. This is the kind of thing that will permanently ruin Halaa if its not fixed soon. It will become like the LFG system, people will always think its broken and not bother due to past experience.

Yeah, it's bugged. People train the guards and they bug out in evade mode. Basically, the guard counter is out of synch with the actual number of guards still standing, so the city can't be capped. A GM has to go in and fix it which seems to take a while.

This was reported early on in beta as well, and many times GMs had to come and reset Halaa. I guess not a huge priority for blizzard.
On our server I dont think I have seen Halaa switch hands at all since the first few days.

Having worked in test on software for a long while I doubt they didnt read it. Im sure its a know issue, its a matter of they didnt have time to fix it, or the fix is in but have not yet had time to patch it.
Im not saying this is good for the state of the game or what not, but saying that they didn't read or didn't know or didn't care is unlikely, just when you have thousands of bugs to fix, sometimes not everything gets done.
Sorry have to defend test when I have the oppertunity.
Carry on.

Seems every time I'm in Nagrand, Halaa is showing 1/15 guards left to one faction or the other, and if it's Horde, there's always talk in General about it being bugged.

If you open up the GM ticket knowledge base and do a search for "Halaa guard" you'll see a note that they are attempting to resolve this. The problem according to the note is that the guard counter is simply not updating properly - you've already killed the guards but the counter never hits zero. This prevents the flag from changing states to be captured.

Halaa is dead in Shu'halo... once people got up to Nagrand, the first few nights everyone loved the idea and got stuck in. Then Horde realised that it bugs every time at 1/15 for us unless we petition AND the petition gets answered in time, which I've seen once so far (and I did 64-67.5 in Nagrand with maybe half a level of Terokkar and a few instance runs, so I was there a lot).
Shu'halo seems slightly Horde-majority so far, and the other PvP objectives bounce around a lot and are more often than not held by Horde, but Halaa is permanently Alliance. We're all stuck with 100 crystal powders and unable to turn them in so we can collect more.
It's unfortunate... maybe if Blizzard make a big announcerment that it's fixed, people will give it another try, because it seemed like something people liked until they discovered it was futile for us.
