Tonight my guild started Karazhan and we downed Attumen as well as the Maiden. We took a while, due to gear more than likely, and didn't attempt Moroes. From what we heard though he does a Garrote that deals 1k damage every 3 seconds for 5 minutes.

We were thinking of some ways to get rid of this debuff. The only thing we came up with was the Luffa. So my question is, does anyone know another way (outside of a paladins BoP) to remove this?

Isn't it a reasonable request that you actually attempt a fight once before running to ask for help on it?

Mages can ice block out of it, and i think what we did is we had people that had the debuff group up on the table and let prayer of mending bounce between them....basically just heal through it. He only does it after he vanishes which he doesn't do terribly often, so it is more of a kill him before the raid is taking too much damage.

Honestly, just ask me in-game for something like this. This is an R&D kinda question, a bit narrow for its own topic. It should be in the general Kara thread.

Luffa and BoP work, and you can ice block out of it and such. You can also save soulstones to use midfight on anyone who gets it, and use that as a way of basically "removing" it.
