Clear your cache, apparently it keeps trying to load the old elitistjerks.com (hence the big kaubel icon on the upper left hand side of the screen), but the width of text is different. Switching to an IETab in Firefox and clearing my cache both worked to fix the issue that I'd been having with posts being cut off at the right hand of the screen.

EDIT: Even after doing this, I can only post a new topic in my IETab, Firefox itself won't post the topic.

SHIFT+refresh will fix things.

Hope ya'll get this fixed soon, it never really sunk in how much these forums have superseded the blizzard ones for me. I (*gasp*) read the Blizz-forums and I think I became dumber in under 10 minutes. :)

Yeah, this isn't really the "new board" -- this is a horrible abomination that will be changing soon.

This has nothing to do with our host. It has everything to do with what appears to be some poorly-coded PunBB plugins.

Haha, we we didn't really move that recently. We're currently on a dedicated server through LayeredTech. Most of the recent issues around here lately have been because of some crap PunBB plugin that was making MySQL into a carnivorous beast which routinely dined on our users. Since moving back to a clean install with no modifications, everything has been more or less hunky dory.

We're currently planning our next move.

Put back the mods one-by-one till MySQL starts eating users again :P.

Reviving a semi-dead (but maybe semi-relevant) thread. Did a setting change in the last 24-48 hours that makes the board send emails for replies/posts in threads you have posted in previously?

I ask because I never received email from the EJ boards before but have gotten 3 in the last oh 24-36 hours. I looked briefly for some profile option that might have gotten reset but didn't find anything obvious.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure (like 99% sure) I didn't click on the "subscribe" link in the thread.

I think the only thing that would cut more traffic from the board than this is if you couldn't post while at work.
