I've been able to avoid getting knocked around from Ground Slam by running against the outer wall when it happens. Anyone else tried this?

This is what I always do. It works every time.

Unfortunately, I think it might have more to do with jumping off of something rather than just jumping alone (unless the mere fact that I was airborne for a longer duration was the factor).

Or you could just blink when it goes off since you're a mage :P

For one thing, blink is very expensive, especially if you're going to be casting it on every ground slam. For another, the cooldown is long enough that if I did use it to avoid the slam, I won't be able to use it to escape from when four people land on top of me for the shatter.
