I just recently saw this on our trade channel then asked my engineering helper and he can craft one. but I still remember the good ol' accurascope which doesn't work on melee anymore.

So my question is does anyone know if it works on melee?

tooltips says: edit: just tested it, it only shows on the ranged crit value but I don't know if it counts on melee hit.

Also IceBox, it might help if you just read the in-game describtion properly. It says "Attaches a permanent scope to a bow or gun that increases its critical strike rating by 28." ... "That increases ITS critical...". Reading that, it's fairly obvious that it only adds to ranged attacks.

He was probably hoping that it was bugged like the initial version of the +hit scope - they applied to melee hit, but I do believe their tooltips had wording like this scope's.
