Well, Brutallus definitely requires near-flawless synergy and DPS output from a fully-geared guild. When you have Blood Legion with 3 Glaive sets hitting the berserk timer as he dies, it's safe to say that this is more of a gear check than we've ever seen in WoW.

We probably spent roughly the same number of hours on Patchwerk for our first kill that we did on Brutallus for our kill, but on Patchwerk we beat his berserk timer by almost a minute on the first kill -- it was just a matter of whether we could keep all our HS tanks alive for the whole time, and most of our healers at the time simply were not used to healing predictively (lots of CQMC-powered spamming experience -- breaking that mod was such a good thing).

I don't know of anyone who thinks that any of these bosses are too easy. The tuning so far is just right.

The sneak preview is tomorrow (or today, for non-west coast types), and the release date is the first, if I'm remembering correctly. And yes, there is a flying rocket mount.

Hunters tend to do really well (dps wise) on fights where they just stand there with a stupid look on their face. Az'galor and brutallus are good examples of this.

Hunters have long been underrated because some of their mechanics are nonobvious and a lot of really stupid people play the class. Mindless auto/steady macros are changing some of that these days, I suppose.

Grats on the kill, guys. Don't want to get all mushy, but I love seeing you all still succeeding and doing great things for this game and having these excellent forums for us to better our playstyle. Gurg, expect many more /bow and /kneel from me in-game.
