Well, he's no harder than Vael or Firemaw now, and I can't imagine any guild able to make it to Chromaggus being unable to defeat him. Fun fight, though. We got back to him today for the first time in 1.7, after a week spent playing around in Zul'gurub and Arathi Basin (which are both awesome). He died pretty easily (no deaths!) with the exact same strat we had been using to beat our heads against the brick wall that was Chromaggus v1.6.

Also it's good to see that Nefarian is resetting properly as of 1.7 (ahead of schedule, since it originally wasn't supposed to happen until 1.8). Looking to making further progress in the days to come.

umm, i don't remember if it was one of your pic or not, but someone didn't block out the combat log and raid chat with warnnings... yes it is, i remember now. there is a pic with xuk yelling when chromaggus is YOU KNOW WHAT.LOLWTFOMG Damage thing (slug and others like this), you better find it and black that out too.

Actually no, Time Lapse will totally change the fight when we have it.

No need to edit that. It's no secret to anyone that any time something comes up Shadow Vulnerable, the following sequence of events occurs:

1) Xel warns the raid. "OMFG SHADOW VULNERABLE!"
2) I laugh maniacally and begin to salivate.
3) I shout "WHEEE!!!" and begin playing the "how much is too much?" game.
4) All the healers on the raid collectively spout "Dammit!".
5) I pull agro and die.

Cardrian apparently respecced to DS. This means either that I won't die as often on future runs, or I won't have to be so careful with my damage output. I think I'll try option two first and see how it goes...

Yeah. Moz and I will be sporting our modern styles one moment, then a Time Lapse will hit and we'll both be busting out the afros and bellbottoms of the 70's while half the raid ceases to exist because they weren't born yet.
