Berserking is pretty nice for a warrior, actually. It generates a ton of rage, and the haste is pretty sweet for Cleave or HS spam. And way back when I was levelling, it was triggered by 20% health rather than being crit, which made it a timer I could pop to save myself. It's not something I use while tanking a raid boss or anything, though, for obvious reasons.
But even though I frequently beg priests for spirit and I have 305 thrown skill, I still can't deny that the other traits suck.
Also, I don't think trolls in general are very popular for any class.

Why does every other race think that Underwater breathing is a huge advantage? Where exactly is all this leet underwater pvp I've been missing out on? In the moat around the blacksmith?
I've killed somebody underwater maybe 3 times since last November. Cannibalize is 10 times more usefull in pvp than underwater breathing.

I was thinking more of a leveling up racial. There are many quests that force you to go underwater for one reason or another. I pretty regularly ended up right near the bottom of the breath meter before having the opportunity to shift back to seal form as a druid, and that would be even worse for any class that has no underwater breathing abilities(anything other than druid, warlock and shaman really)

I know!
There's one thing I've been wondering, why is it I don't see too many troll warriors? I don't think I've ever fought one before.
|
Because:
Undead get Will of the Forsaken and underwater breathing
Tauren get 5% bonus health and warstomp
Orcs get stun resistance and +axe skill
Trolls get throwing, +3hp regen per tick and a special that can only be used when you are the victim of a critical strike, and prior to 1.9, causes you to take extra damage.
Im not sure about you, but I sure as hell dont want to be taking extra damage after being critted, when not dying is top on my list of things to do that day.
I played a troll shaman for months, and not once could I ever honestly say that the racials made a difference in my playing.
In contrast, on my tauren druid, I use warstop many times per day when I need a stun.

You forgot sex appeal. :-* Trolls are the best race.

I pray that isn't some lead in to "horny" comments.

I know! Just imagine a troll mage conjuring crystal water at 10 waters per conjuring with the new berzerking. This is potentially game breaking!
The fact that spell crits can allow them to go into berzerker mode is kind of scary though. Should give them a nice edge over other casters.

I kind of rerolled. And by that I mean I disenchanted all the gear on my shaman, gave everything away to a guildmate who promptly ebayed, and quit playing WoW.
I relapsed though, so here I am.

I certainly like your sense of humor.

4 years have passed, and the mechanics behind Deep Breathe are still a mystery for this encounter.

The community actually figured them out a while ago... same with the fireballs and threat in p2. :<
Every time she decides to move, she rolls a die to decide how to move among her 6 possible hover positions: 40% left, 40% right, 30% straight across. Straight across = Deep Breath...

Nice to know Onyxia gives her 110% on the encounter.

REGARDLESS
It is chance left, chance right, smaller chance straight across. Shape desired numbers to fit; the exact percentages matter a lot less than just knowing its a ~1/3 chance of deep breath every 20-30 sec, when she changes hover points.
