As has been said many times now, this is a great fight. It's hard as hell, requires top-notch gear and intense execution from the entire raid group. Before AQ40, I wondered how Blizzard was going to really challenge raid groups, and whether it was still possible to design fights that would tax the mana reserves of BWL-geared healers. I'm glad to see that I was wrong.

This is a fight that will be fun and profoundly stressful as a healer for a long time to come.

I love AQ40... I love it so much. ;_; You have no idea the happiness it brings me after 4 years of Everquest and well... The earlier raid content in WoW. Which is pretty fun too but... It's just not the same.

I'm assuming you're more PvE-spec'ed, right? How's that build work for PvP (assuming you do with that char)?

Yeah, that's about as PvE as it gets. How it performs in pvp is mostly based on gear abuse. It generates CP at the speed of a turtle, has no ways of controlling burst damage aside from thistle tea, and no modified openers. But I'm still a rogue coated in purple fighting people who aren't, and when there are some competent healers around I can do a lot of damage.
