When we did him the other day we had Rogues in full time ;O He isn't really healing intensive either, so I don't see what the big thing is with Rogue's wanting to go AFK during the fight.

Edit: They weren't top DPS though that's for sure, but they were in full time contributing.

That's basically it. It's more the fact that aggro is so touchy at times (less so with BoS) and certain events can happen in conjunction with each other such that a rogue in melee range can instantly die at nearly any time in the fight. They can certainly contribute something, but it's so not worth the very very high risk of losing them. If they're going to go out in a blaze of glory, better to have it at 20% than at 60%.

I think this encounter is very well done, fun to execute and learn but as a rogue, it is too unforgiving. Are we there just to take a space from a ranged DPS class? Perhaps they could have made the bugs not cc-able, with lower HP so we could serve some purpose. Or it could be like Huhuran where you need a certain amount of people eating the AE nature damage. I can't really think of another encounter where a certain class is such a liability, since having another ranged DPS would be a huge upgrade.
