Not to be outdone by last year's Vegas Jerk Off, several (there were more than six) of us decided to have our own get together, Texas style.

Wednesday, 7/12/06 - Some drove, some flew, but most of us arrived early enough to meet up with each other at the motel. Soon though, it was time to eat. Mmmm, pie! Then, with bellies full of fajitas and poblanos, we decided to do what any other reasonable person would - we went go-cart racing.

Thursday, 7/13/06 - By this time, more had joined us and we had lunch at an American-style restaurant. And finally, we had a chance to get a group picture. So from left to right (front to back when applicable):

Saturday, 7/15/06 - Texas BBQ followed by a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium.

I'm not sure what everyone decided to do Saturday evening since we had to leave early, so I expect those who stayed to provide updates.

Jerks, I can't tell you how much fun we had. You guys are as fun and friendly as I expected you to be, and I'm glad to be associated with you. We have GOT to do it again next summer.

I find it ironic that Kaubel does the worst flex pose. Also, Gamblor is not amused (although he might disagree with that theory.)

Now I'm having second thoughts about these guys. If you have a booger hanging out of your nose, or you're doing a crappy /flex pose, a true friend would tell you about it before you go out in public.

Well, I just got home from my 6 hour drive, 2 of which were bumper to bumper, 2mph traffic. Personally I had a blast, you kids are a lot of fun to hang out with. As for last night, I think overall everyone had a good time. Humperdinks had some great food and TOWERS (pics to be added later) of beer. After that people started to split up, some headed home, some back to the hotel, and a lucky few of us got to see Bloodgush dance with a real live woman at the club.

I'd worried I still wouldn't be feeling good by the time we left, but I guess finally getting to see the sun again perked me up a little. Was a fun trip, on the whole. A simple camera couldn't capture even a tiny portion of the overall good times and I pity all the poor bastards that missed out.

55 and grizzled is no way to go through life, son. If I'd made a living out of being the expected, they'd have always seen it coming.
