I tried the rogue spreadsheet, works so-so, but I'd like to see you guys opinion based on your own experiences. In the end, the spreadsheet is not a bible to be followed straight up.

I'm wondering how worth is sacrifing stats like ap/crit to get a little more +hit.. any of you guys have done comparisons? Im currently sittin around 1650ap, with 23% crit and 298 hit, but I can get some more AP and crit, but in order to do so, I'd have to sacrifice around 40 hit or so..

I havent done any testing, as the only fights that +hit really matters are boss fights I guess.. but I'll try it tonight and maybe next week post it again with a different setup.

The sheet is exactly like the bible for this kind of things!

Depends on your spec - I'm sword spec with Combat Potency, and for my spec, +hit is 2nd best stat for me, period (haste being #1). This is not "just" from the spreadsheet, it's from my own personal experiences - you can see my gear isn't much to look at from the armory link, but I'm damn near the +hit cap in it, and my DPS is neck and neck (sometimes #1, sometimes #2) with Glem, another rogue from our guild (name included for armory comparisons), who... while a bit unorthodox in spec, is a DAMN good rogue and has been a top-3-dps person since day 1 in Molten Core (along with myself and a few others) .. given that I've pretty much avoided crit entirely (fear my 27 crit rating!) and my dps is competitive for my gear level, I'm happy with the choices I've made. If I were deep assassination, I'd be aiming for a LOT more crit gear, however.

My opinion is that maybe you should check the spreadsheet thread.
