retri what tactic ?

I've finaly dinged the mighty level 70 and specced retri.
Now I seem to have issues dealing enugh dameg in pvp and in instances.
Could someone explain if I have specced wrong and how to correct it.
And what type of gear I should aim for ? stats wise and such.
I also need a bit of help how I should be fighting as a retri in instances and how it's best to fight in arena.

I really hope that people will take time to help.

There's a fairly high gear threshhold to be in any way effective damage as a Retribution paladin, and you're highly dependent on good group synergy to do well.

The bare minimum to be truly effective is something like 1300 AP and 25% crit and at least 40 hit rating, all unbuffed. You have nowhere near these numbers.

And even then, though a dedicated and skilled ret paladin can be an asset, a bad one is basically a huge albatross on a good raid. Any paladin will be more useful healing, though it's possible to be useful enough as ret to enjoy the role in raids if you put enough effort into gathering gear for it.

Basically: your gear blows, really really bad. There's no easy route to being effective considering how incredibly terrible your gear is, and I'd almost suspect this to be a troll.
