Item idea "Soulbound Armor Bag"

This pertains mostly to Hybrid classes who find themselves needed to carry around several different pieces of armor/trikets and what not to alter there role. (ie Druids, Shaman, Paladin) but really any class could use this for encounter specific resist gear and what not...

The idea is a questable item call the "Soulbound Armor Bag". This item would be a 32 slot bag that would be able to hold only items that were wearable in equip slots and that were soulbound to you. These item type restrictions in containers can be found for the Warlock soulsotne bags, and crafting specifig bags for miners and what not. By limiting the bag to souldbound armor items, you would avoid abuse and the bag would really only be helpful for toons that needed to walk around with multiple armor sets (and lets be honest, who does not).

Make it a relatively difficult (but not guild/raid difficult) quest chain reward...a blue quality item available to characters lvl 65 and above. I think this would make lots of folks happy, give us all something to quest for end game, and free up some room for loot, potions, quest items, craft items, and what not.

Thoughts?

Your best bet honestly is just bigger bags. Specific bags are kind of silly to be honest. Why not a bag specifically for potions, along with one for armor, one for grey vendor crap, etc.

You see where I am going with this? When it comes right down to it, the specific herb/mining/etc bags are really only good for one thing and that is keeping all of your X items in one place when you loot them so you don't have to drag across five bags trying to find that stack of Terocone. Infact my herb bag has become a detriment recently because although it is 20 slots... what raids do I go to and take 20 stacks of herbs?

Push for bigger bags not X-specific.

If I remember right, sometime during TBC Beta, there was a "Furor's Chest" (or something similar, my ailing memory fails me - I did notice it wasn't Foror, but the real name) datamined, which was apparently a 24-slot bag, rumored to be able to store only equippables.

Never really seen in beta, nor made to live.

IIRC it was "Furor's Crate of Resist Gear", a 24 slot bag, with the flavor text being something about dripping with raider's tears.

I think it was pretty much just a joke put in for the dataminers to laugh about.

Clearly law school has done wonders for me.

I think the major benefit of the herb bag is for throwing it in your bank. Very convenient to have them all in one place in a massive container.

I never saw the appeal of carrying a specialty bag on my character (short of warlocks/hunters), though I would use the soulbound armor bag - I counted the other day, I'm currently carrying 33 pieces of alternate gear and the truly hardcore min/maxers in the guild have it far, far worse.
