Haven't seen a thread here yet. But Illidan is dead.. so soon?

Now a bunch of questions enter my mind. Did Blizzard really expect a single guild to be capable of storming their Black Temple and kill the single most iconic character of the expansion so soon? Is the Illidan fight even that hard? They barely got into Black temple recently. Fights like Four Horsemen took legitimate weeks to learn... Illidan might be a difficult fight to execute, I guess we won't know until Nihilum share details - but apparently the level of strategy required didnt take Nilhium more than a short-while to figure out? Part of me was hoping it would be such a complex/elegant encounter which took an extended time to master, like The Four Horsemen.
