After doing several searches here, I haven't found much discussion of how to handle the trash when you first enter The Eye.

Our first look last night didn't go well at all. We see that you can CC 4 of the 6 pull, but the 2 pallys keep dispelling the CC. Add in Mind Control, HoJ and other goodies and it was not a good time for all!

Can anyone pass on some strats for the 6 pull trash?


Also, I notice you have to pass by Al'ar to get to Void Reaver's room. How does a raid do this? Can you just stay on the wall and clear without agro him?

Clense has a range.
Alar is perfectly peaceful until tormented!

 

• Shifft

Pull the pally mobs out of LOS, if a sheep gets in LOS of them, have the mage spam sheep and not DPS at all. Al'ar won't aggro unless you attack him.

Keep debuffs up on the Paladin-type mobs, which forces them to cleanse themselves. The other 4 can be polymorphed and killed 1 by 1 after.

Just clear into Al'ar's room and go up to your left and you should be just fine
