Ive recently been trying to figure out if dragonstrike's proc makes up for its non pve oriented spec, can anyone give me some insight on whether it makes up for that loss, or if going with a different weapon and its spec would do as much or more than dragonstrike.

Talon is better than dragonstrike with my gear so I think its pretty safe to say that the haste proc alone cannot make up for the fact that its a mace.
