My guild is starting to yell at me, because I have not spent a single bit of DKP since TBC released. If you look at my armory you'll see most of it is tailoring, arena dagger, bought trinkets etc.

Now a few items I already know of are the +52 Shadow Damage amulet from Kara and a new trinket. (I'm shooting for Blessings & Icon)
The amulet hasn't dropped for me for months or kara runs..


Even looking through the T4 and T5 gear i'm having trouble deciding whether or not I want them. For instance in TK last night, Void-Reaver dropped his mage helm - and I passed on it because I thought my spellstrike helm(plus set bonus) better.
Is anybody else having this sort of problem? Raiding gear sucking?


Any advice on various set bonus combinations & gear to pick up would be much appreciated, thank you.

So they'd prefer the well geared people to take minor upgrades over the undergeared people getting huge ones?

Interesting system you have over there.

There's always free cheese in the mouse traps, but the mice there ain't happy.

The VR helm (why do you call it a Mage helm?) is an upgrade over the single Spellstrike helm, but with the 2/2 set bonus it is not so clear which one is better.
While raid gear may not be the big increase you are looking for, each upgrade adds up.

The Gladiator spell dagger does blow most other weapon drops out of the water but then that is only one slot, and FSW/Spellstrike may not be as good as you think.


Spend some time with one of the Warlock dps spreadsheets, and you can get a guess at what a new piece of gear will add to your performance.
