Latency and Auto-Attack

Does latency affect the auto-attack rate? say, 300ms latency, would that add 0.3sec to autoattack? or does autoattack continue at a steady rate server-side. just wondering.

It continues at a steady rate, server side.

All that delays due to latency (as far as I know) is the start, and end of an autoattack period (ie from when you right click, to when you cancel the autoattack).
