Yes but that other thread is like 20 pages long and covers every phase. I thought having one dedicated to this phase would be helpful, obviously you all disagree.

Well there's already quite a bit of phase 2 discussion in thread, it's not like bringing the topic back up within it is a bad thing.

Honestly at this point it's too late, but in the future for fights that are really 4 boss fights in one, a split thread would be nice to have to ease of use. The thread itself is a testament to the idea. Anywho...

It isn't a smart idea to make a split thread for every single phase of every encounter. At the end you will have to go through all phases to beat it, so better get used to reading the whole thing, and putting some emphasis(sp?) in the part you are mostly lacking

That is exactly what I'm saying. Espeically in this case where the phases involve distintively different mobs with unique ablities and unique theorycrafting involved. It'll make it easier for those that are having problems to discuss those paticular problems in that phase. Then move on to the next thread for help on the following phases. You do have to admit that Kael is a very unique fight in his phases.

Yes it would overlord the board somewhat, but most people use the search engine to find the boss thread for each boss. Plus there's the theory that long threads actually slow down boards due to the SQL counting the posts to display the number of pages. It's been a long long time since I've had to worry about that sort of thing and that problem may have already been solved.
