Reasons why Blizzard hasn't implemented 'easy fixes' to PvP?
Just curious if there are any good reasons why Blizzard hasn't implemented the seemingly easy fixes that likely would imporve PvP. I mean stuff like.
1) Hide the score board until a Battle ground starts. Or possibly even a little longer to avoid BG hopping.
2) Hide the instance ID to avoid premade queuing to AV. If they don't want you to do premades there why supply the info needed for players to get around it?
3) They have personal rating now for arenas. Why allow it to reset when you change teams? Seems like thats a setup for failure in any ranking system. Why not simply have players keep their personal rating forever but make it so your personal rating and team rating evens out faster (maybe 30 games on same team means you team/personal rating are the same? Give out points based on personal rating? Why not?).
4) Twinks vs normal players and gear matching? I'd assume this kills interesst in Battle grounds alot for new players. Possibly even to the point where twinks are the normal characters in 10-19 and 20-29 BGs.
Can't really think of any good reasons for the first two anyway. Don't see any reason to have an easily manipulated arena rating system either. Twinks might be something Blizzard encourage as something to try when tired of the rest of the game but they must see that it has effects on the potential new players.
