We dont hate you for your loot system, You asked us what we thought of your loot system and we answered.

You have a very frail grasp on the concept of a zero sum system, and im sorry that you dont seem to understand what an imbalance you are creating.

well.. the officers arent trying to screw people but give loot to who they felt deserve it most.

obviously everyone can read this forum... so it must be getting bad vibes if other guilds are thinking negatively of us as well.

but i dont think i should discuss the loot system here anymore anyways.

so ill leave it at that.

obviously people are either reading this or hearing from other members that judgement tries to screw there guild. and i definetly dont want that.....

If that is what you wanted in the first place then you should have just gone with an Officer-assigned loot system. Then you can shave off all but 40 people in your guild, those 40 will become the core raiding group who gets all the loot, and the remainder can go join other guilds.

There is no such thing as a fair balance to make everyone in a >40-60 raiding guild happy while at the same time giving loot priority to those you think deserve it most, either through favoritism or through them being the MT/core raiders. Either make a zero-sum system so everyone can get a fair shot at loot and the people who think they deserve it more can fuck off and wait their turn in line, or make it officer-assigned and whittle your numbers down to be a small guild like pretty much any other raiding guild out there.

I don't know what the loot system for that guild is but aren't you kind of bringing it up yourself if you post here with some information that stems from your loot system? I mean not taking sides but why don't you just settle whatever problem you have ingame? Also the guy who doesn't like you isn't in EJ...

well i understand where your coming from... i like discussing the point system with you guys. and i wish i could. cause for the most part i actually feel the same way you guys do about our system. But i respect the decisions of the other officers of my guild and even if they choose something i dont like i have to go with it. I am even running the points page even if i dont like it... i still do it.

I just wasnt thinking about the consequences of posting information like that here, and now some of the consequences are happening.

All i can say is my guild doesnt like the negative response so unfortunately i cant talk about points with you guys ):

my main concern right now is keeping this guild together because i like it alot. and although you may feel some of us are greedy bastards... please dont think all of us this way.

anyways i know its not EJ's fault we got a negative response... but my own. Im not posting here because of EJ itself, you guys are more than entitled to your own opinion.

From time to time i may just check up on what you guys rate items out of curiosity but like i said i wont be able to discuss what we do with our point system anymore.

ive enjoyed the advice and i love the plain up zero sum system.
