From the Frost thread:
"As a general rule of thumb, you shsould use red gems in every socket. The only exception will be if you have a single yellow socket with a +strength socket bonus or are using your nightmare tear in a blue socket (which should also be used for a strength bonus). I have Nevermelting Ice (232), Dislodged Foreign Object (264) and spyglass (251). I think that on static boss, when you little move, i use Nevermelting Ice (232) and Dislodged Foreign Object (264), because corruption is 100% time on boss. Another case i use Dislodged Foreign Object (264) and spyglass (251). Please Correct if wrong.

P.s. my build is 56_00_15

This is killing me. With the haste buff to unholy from sub-frost specs Bryntroll looks much more promising than the Shadows Edge I just finished farming for (due to the increase in proc frequency). In the end it would nice to have a fancy legendary when I hit 85 but everyone loves gold.

Not to mention that they threw DW Frost as a potential top spec for us into the mix.

I currently have Leggings Of Woven Death. I got Sanctified Bloodmage Leggings in VoA25. Is it worth losing the 108 haste (and a gem slot) on the Woven Death for the set bonus I get with 2nd piece of Bloodmage gear?
I'd think the constant haste would be better than a proc... but, would love advice.

Here is a talent build I cooked up that tries to spam IT as much as possible. Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

It basically uses both DRM and Blood of the North to convert Blood and Unholy runes to Death Runes; Frost runes get converted too, but we don't really care. If Blood Tap is off of CD, we can use the Death Rune for yet another IT. Since this spec uses DRM, it should play a bit more like a typical Blood rotation except we spam IT instead of HS, and use OB to build up Death runes. Yes, this build probably has lower DPS, but I really wanted to see how much threat this build could generate while maintaining the survivability of a normal Frost build. Arguably, the 2/2 Epidemic is probably the weakest part of the spec since we are spamming IT and Frost performs very well without Blood plague. This build should also have excellent RP generation because of all the ITs while having the 2/2 in Chill of the Grave talent.

Unfortunately, I actually can't try this spec myself for a couple of weeks. I realize that I might be making a fool of myself here or overlooking something entirely, so please chime in with any comments.

Guildmate says 1h Fury is good once you're near full hard mode BiS. Is this true? I can't find any ICC-updated information on it so I'm guessing the answer is no...

I'm approaching 80 and this is my first character, so I have a couple questions.

1. What hit rating should I go for when gearing for heroics? Also, what hit cap should I aim for to raid? (Not familiar w/ hit rating buffs)

2. I'm going demonology because my guilds needs a warlock with demonic pact. I understand that demonic pact is based on your spell power, but when I begin gearing up should I go destruction until I get a certain amount of spell power?

Also, I haven't started researching it yet but what is a good guide to help you gear up for heroics?

I just picked up a [phylactery of the nameless lich](normal) and had been using [mauradin's spyglass](normal)
first trinket from sindragosa proc when I deal paradoic demage..
It is better?

for landsou: Im trying to figure out a macro that will charge in, rend and then back to zerker stance. I do have one that will take my from zerker to battle, rend then back, but one to start the fight with charge and rend is making my life complicated, and what major glyphs are you using, do you use any points in enrage?

You can manually add any piece of gear to the sheet you want. I couldn't tell you how but I know a few people here can.

I'm just wondering what happens when your 2 weapons have different expertise?

This is more for Orcs than anything other races, where if I have an axe and a sword, my expertise would be 26/21 or something like that.

So the question is, should I equip the axe in my MH or OH? assuming the axe is ilvl 251 and the sword is ilvl 264.

I currently am using Ramaladni's Blade of Culling, and have 793 ArP rating. My gear is a mix of 10m normal mode and 25m (1st wing) gear. I'm now looking to upgrade my weapon either to a normal Bryntroll or a Shadow's Edge.

Given the changes to the frost tree, in 3.3.3 how much better would Bryntroll be, compared to Shadow's Edge (which I believe remains static despite the changes)? My Bryntroll will be bought from a GDKP run eventually, while Shadow's Edge will be obtained in about 2-3 weeks based on current emblem collection rate (to buy the P. Saronite).

Having a tough time deciding which weapon to go with!
