Currently having an interesting time healing HC Saurfang 25. I'm finding it extremely RNG, and having issues with tank-gibs during swaps, simply because we're running a 7 healer setup, with 2 Paladins. My beacon is used on the first non-melee mark, and the others is used usually on the second, so we can free up the other 5 healers to help on raid till more marks are up.
I find it puts a lot more pressure on myself and the other Paladin to avoid extraneus judging/using DP. I'm cycling cd's to retain the longevity:throughput balance I used for Lich King, but I'm still having some mild mana probs near the end with the spiky tank damage. I've not oomed yet but I've come close, and it's reached the point now where I need to call for an innervate at 30% so I don't oom during Frenzy.
If I do have to DP, I'm using it with wings + talisman of resurgence to minimise throughput loss (I don't use 2t10 sanc atm) and pop Guardian + aura mastery'd Devo (3/3 improved). I'm saving LoH (improved) for an "oh shite" moment on tanks when, say, the other tank healer is judging/dp'ing or for myself for another 2 holy lights worth of mana :S
In summary- love healing intense fights like Queen but "1 person dies, you all wipe" mechanics ain't fun to heal.

I'm looking for a BiS Fire & Arcane list containing items from 25 Normal ICC, and 10 Heroic ICC. Could anyone help me with this?

Hey guys im new here and have a question. If SS is, and will be our hardest hit skill, why not just keep Reaping and take points out of necrosis (2/5), which is around 5% of our damage. Im sorry if this has already been discussed but i didn´t read the whole thread yet. Thanks...

Has anyone noticed GoD to be a dps increase over GoIT? Forgot to check how much of a damage increase GoIT for frost fever per rotation but between one BS,IT,PS i average about 7k damage, compared to average of about 13k with both sides of SS, find it hard to believe GoIT would add 6k damage or more over the course of one rotation to FF. On Deathbringer i show about 50-75 dps higher with glyph of disease over GoIT.
Rotation is: It,Ps,Bs,Bs,Ss,dump,HoW,Ss,Ss,bs,pest, dump for the first portion
after that its: Pest,Bs,Ss,Ss,dump,HoW if theres time,Ss,Ss,Ss,dump
using 14/0/57 spec and armory is The World of Warcraft Armory - Traein @ Earthen Ring - Profile
have 3rd t10 piece but about 80 badges from 4p, will be replacing chest with badge one same for belt as soon as i have the badges for em. No access to any heroic mode stuff and 25s dont progress very far past rotface/fester since we only do them once a week. Dps is typically around 8k5-9k on 25 man, errrr to note 8k5 was about max before the icc buff ive only been in once or twice since the buff

No more reverse scaling with spirit then?

Long time obsesser and reader, first time poster. So I've been keeping a relatively close eye on the rogue change threads and if I understand right, at least in BiS gear for each spec respectively, subtlety comes out ahead by a noticeable amount.
Basically I have a quick question or two: Is there a Subtlety sheet I missed so I can check out what my dps would be like with my current gear? And if not, are there any stat levels I need before switching to Subtlety, like arp cap, etc?
Sorry if I missed these types of questions being addressed earlier in this thread, I'll remove my post if they have been.

Well, the thing is, to be bluntly honest, until one is raiding end-game, gear/stat optimization doesn't really matter, and that is what the spreadsheets are all about. Someone just starting out should worry about getting ilevel upgrades and getting rid of blues, and by the time they are ready to play endgame, the spreadsheets will suddenly be relevant.

I would sit and stream all the replies posted prior to this one, but since there is over 120 pages worth I will give it a shot with my question here and hope I get a reply to it. I appreciate all the information that has been put out by Consider so far but I am very curious about one thing. As said and proven, Death Knight pets including Ghoul, Army of the Dead, and Gargoyle all benefit from our haste. My question is, if we do our normal rotation in blood presence and during an encounter reach the point where Bloodlust/Heroism and all other cooldowns are being used, should we switch to unholy presence for an extra 15% haste to buff our Army of the Dead and Gargoyle - and then switch back to blood presence once all is out and returning to normal rotation - or not?

My 2 cents: Before my rogue was doing endgame raiding, I just used a combination of stat caps (poison hit cap, expertise cap, arp cap, etc depending on the spec) and shadowpanther's gear rankings to determine what is an upgrade or not as "casual". My girlfriend rolled a rogue and that's exactly how I help her determine upgrades as well since she doesn't raid on it so obsessive minmaxing and stat balancing (from spreadsheets) is far from necessary for her.
On a related note, since most realms pug ToC10/25 ICC10/25 (partial/full clears), it's pretty easy to get gear that's on the spreadsheets.

With 3.3.3, Lifetap will scale with spellpower instead of spirit (just like Dark Pact has been). Does this mean we can lose dark pact and start lifetapping again, and put that point elsewhere?
Edit: Got my answer in the SimCraft thread. Quoted Below.
"The most recent PTR build has updated life tap mechanics: It now has a base mana return of 2400, and scales with 60% of your spell power. This makes a talented life tap better than dark pact until you reach 5800 spell power.

Also mentioned, they have fixed the bug where increased amounts of spirit will take away more health when lifetapping.
So I suppose I should lose the points in Dark Pact/Amplify Curse and put them into 2/2 Imp LT.

I haven't looked at how the health loss scales - we don't even simulate that part.

No. It was discussed several times in the past. 15% haste will not offset 15% damage lost, not to mention you waste 2 runes, GCD's to swap and messing up rotation. In real and dinamic fights where you got tons of other things to watch about, you're almost bound to loose dps that way. Test it yourself in some boss fight...

Updated patch notes from MMO-Champion:
"Known Issues
Life Tap: The tooltip for this ability incorrectly states that the health lost is modified by spirit. Health loss is fixed and does not get increased by the Warlock's spirit."

Yeah, I just tested - the health loss doesn't scale with anything at all on the PTR, it's a fixed 2000 HP.
