I know you guys mostly focus on PvE, but for anyone who might we wondering, the changes were very nice for battleground PvP. I made it a point to go after high armor targets and the changes seems to be very effective. And I only have 9% or so ArPen per the tooltip in my PvP gear. Clothies still die quickly despite the small nerf to low armor targets. The extra burst from ambush more than makes up for it.

This is contrast with pre-3.3 where I had learned from experience to avoid high armor targets like the plague. I'd say it is close enough to Mutilate that (my) skill becomes more of a factor. The reasonable damage/burst combined with all Sub's utility means I might be sticking with Sub as my PvP spec (with a few talent switches from the current one).

I recommend that you try it out if you are curious.

Oh, and as a note, I've running dual wound without much problem. The waylay debuff procs nearly every ambush/backstab.

Thanks a lot for these infos on armor pen Orchaoss ! I'll try out Kahorie's sim ! However I was wondering, when you use your UH spec, do you keep your armor pen gemmed gear ? I mean, are the infos you gave about armor pen only relevant to blood spec or also for UH spec ? I'm asking since UH does more magic damage than blood, and even with the changes to SS etc, I was wondering if it's still as important for UH. Would that change the way you read the Kahorie's sim results ?

It's so easy to add gear to Aldriana's sheets. Even the biggest excel noob can unhide a tab and overwrite the data on an unobtainable piece of gear. I don't know why this keeps coming up.

I play and have played other dps classes and none of them have a sim sheet as good, transparent, and modifiable as Aldriana's. (not trying to take anything away from Landsoul or Mavanas who are awesome as well).

I use RAWR at work to import armories and did notice the significant improvement. It will just be very difficult to lure people away from Aldriana's and Mavanas's sheets, as trusted as they are in the rogue community.

ok so i havent been able to find anything for elemental hit cap, haste cap, best rotation and best build for raiding without using fire nova, ive been lookin for approximately an hour, and i guess im just not seeing it...but can someone please send me mail answering my questions?

Hey Everyone!

I'm just coming back to raiding after about a year off. I've tried to read through most of the latest information from the past few months in the destruction lock forum, the Simcraft forum (Although I have no idea how to use this), and this compendium. I see on the first page the BiS link for destruction (Profiler - Wowhead), but that's for heroic ICC gear. I've done a bunch of searches, but everything seems to be updated with ilvl 277 gear. ATM, I'm only going to be running normal ICC, so I won't be able to get ilvl 277 gear.

Is there an old link / post somewhere that contains the BiS items for destro warlocks for normal ICC? Also, it seems as though many people are stating that affliction is better in ICC than Destro, and they show Simcraft data to prove it. This is all greek to me, so can someone tell me if affliction is actually better, and perhaps point me in the right location for a startup guide to understanding Simcraft or something?

I'm getting a lot more mana back from Life Tap rank 1 than I used to, which makes getting back on my feet after a res a bit quicker... LT rank 1, Fel Armor, LT rank 1, Summon Felhunter

Ran the first wing in ICC25 last night. Had ZERO threat/snap aggro issues! In fact the IT buff not only fixed those issues (which were minimal) but it is great to use in lieu of your taunt or DG. The range of the spell makes it much easier to control the pulls in general. My AOE threat rivals pallies when I use the DnD glyph and combine it with my 2 tier set bonus. I was pulling threat off of both a pally and Bear tank without a taunt or even trying to pull. I hope to God they keep it right where it is!

I have been following this forum for some time now and have to say that 100 plus pages of running discussions is way too much to jump in and find answers to questions. Why isn't there a combat and Multilate thread to help simplify things? With this continous blog on rogues I am lost trying to get caught up, having switched focus from my mage to the rogue; there isn't a front page with a summary like "this is where you need to be". I down loaded the combat spread sheet and dumped my character into it,,, 1 I seems to suck my lvl 226 vendor neck isn't there to be added and 2 what really suprised me was the spread sheet recommnds AP for combat but glancing over some of the later discussions here I was getting the impression that Armor pen was the way to go... Oh, by the way my toon is stacked up on Agi,,, I am trying to get away from Rawr doesn't seem to be helping much at all. I am lost got some frost to get another t10 piece soon or I have been wondering if the trink is the way to go. Over all with my gear level my 4.7k in dps just is not close enough to compare to similarly geared rogues and that is even figuring on about 5% less for being combat.

So you're reporting a bug that gives you a ton of extra spellpower? Sometimes it's best to keep quiet... it's not an exploit if it happens by accident....
