Yes that's exactly what I intended to do.
I need to pickup a Token for the gloves.
But it bother me because it's a short terms plan even if the final BiS include the gloves I'm not even close to it.

If I manage to get [Cryptmaker] I should go back to T10 Pants + Arp Gloves but well, it's not so soon so I think I'm going to do it.
Otherwise I had a alternative equiping [Wodin's Lucky Necklace] with some 10str/10hit gems, it's more a Crit orientation and I'm not fan of it but it save me some DKPs.

Anyway I'm still open for opinion about Crit VS AP

Imo a priority works best.
Diseases > Desolation > SS > BB > DC > HoW

Tiny Abom in Jar is it better for frosty dks over Whispering Fang skull or DBW?
It just seems it might compete with them due to the amazing speed from icy talons

I recently acquired my 2nd Lungbreaker, and I've pretty much always had Deadly Poison on the faster weapon, and Instant Poison on the slower.

My question is now that both of my weapons are the same speed, which dagger should receive instant poison/deadly poison?

I've tried to check it through the spreadsheet, but there is no option to change poisons I believe.

Why do most end game Rogues go Combat? I read somewhere that in end game, Mutilate DPS surpasses Combat.

Which two T10 pieces for Mutilate?

Which two T10 pieces for Combat?

Not technical and prolly not easy:

Is the shaman [still] a class you will like to have in your raid, for more then heroism?

I am atm leveling a shaman, but when i read the official class forum i would say "ok, reroll for another char if you want to be usefull" of course i know that it is always better to read all the other class-forums if you want to know how "strong" your class is, because in "your" forum you will find much crying, regardless how powerfull your class is.

I know that with BiS-gear and all the buffs of a 25raid and a perfect rotation and so on and so on a shaman - neither ele nor enhance - will be #1 in dmg, and a resto never #1 in hps, but since i will never play in that kind of raid and i will never get the full BiS [mainly bcs of my work, not bcs my play-skill :-)] all that doesnt matter.

For me it is important to know that ele and/or enchancer will be able to do solid dmg in a "normal" raid and that their support is - at least in 10-men-raids - still kinda usefull. And that the resto is not only taken because he is the least evil if you want heroism.

Thanks!

PS There once [2-4 weeks ago] was a list somewhere in this forum with all the different speccs and their dmg, tps, hps done to/at the icc bosses, was taken from worldoflogs.com top50 of each class - or something like that - somebody knows where this thread is gone? - was a very interesting and nice-to-read, colorfull table.

You still want instant on the MH because you have a higher chance to hit with your MH, and unless you're hard-capped with hit rating (you shouldn't be) then that makes a difference.

Ok so my post was deleted from the other topic, I hope this is the right topic to ask, otherwise please excuse me and delete it.

Hello there, first of all thank you Landsoul for your amazing work.
That being said, sorry for my english.

So I'm a little concern about my stuff's choices lately since I picked up [Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand]
Untill now I've always stick to the spreadsheet for my choices but I would like some advice about something.

With all the stuff available since ICC there is some variant possible resulting in +/- the same DPS but different stats orientation.
Basically it gives : More AP or More Crit

My preference at the moment goes to Hit harder while maintening a decent %crit but I'm wondering if anyone tested the two ingame and came back with a clear opinion about which is better or if it is almost the same.

Hope i'm readable, thanks for your time.
So from what i've said earlier, my intend is to replace Cryptmaker with Glorenzelg and drop the T10 Legs + Arp gloves for T10 Gloves + Arp legs.
The thing is, if I manage to get [Cryptmaker] I should go back to T10 Legs + Arp Gloves so this is not a long term plan even if the final BiS include the T10 Gloves I'm not even close to it.
I've also had an alternative by equiping [Wodin's Lucky Necklace] and some 10str/10hit gems, it's more a Crit orientation and I'm not fan of it but it save me some DKP.

In spreadsheet it's about a 20dps difference so I would like to discuss about in-game testing/opinions for More Crit VS More AP.

Weather, if you're not rusty with Fire like most of us have gotten, yes it compares and can beat Arcane on some fights (We tested this on BQL normal and a few other encounters in ICC 25 and 10. Fire scales better without buffs, but arcane is just as good in 25 man.

Who's the mage? Strong and healthy Horde mage.
Whatchoo gonna eat, mana biscuits? Hell no!
Some STRUDEL!

And from my own experiences, aoe raid damage that gets you below 75% is way too spikey. You dip down and up, losing a lot of damage. Shouldn't ever sacrifice heart strikes to get a death strike out just to get you over the limit, and it doesnt help that your only supposed to DS twice every 20 seconds.
Blood arp capped works. I did 12k on fester 2 weeks ago (5% buff) with Arp cap and 2 trix.

I just went unholy this week because i was having some amazing bad luck last week with pest resists and when your pest doesnt hit it trashes your dps(i was getting like 3-4 resists an encounter last week with 8.2% hit)

If I were you, I'd put in the spreadsheet between the 3 weapons to see which 2 net the best results. If one involves Glorenzelg, lose some expertise by removing the gem, getting a new ranged weapon, and a new neckpiece. if you need hit, use 10str/10hit gems.

No, you want deadly mainhand as it has way higher proc rate with imp poison & envenom than IP with a 1.4 speed. Although the only thing affected by it would be envenom so the overall damage difference isn't going to be very noticeable.

edit:

Your mainhand and offhand hit chance is the same.
