i plan on leveling a MM hunter but can't decide on the race. how significant do racial traits affect end-game raiding dps

Hi there,
I'm quite surprised with this BiS gear, especially with the gems.

Enthorn used to present in his original post the different ratios of importance of the different stats,
like "haste: 1.8, sp: 1, crit: 0.8..."

I'd be pleased to know about these different ratios for the 3.3.3 Fire Mage, with 277 BiS gear, because it surprises me that the crit rating is chosen on the ametrine gems instead of the haste.
And even if the crit rate becomes more important than the haste, why having chosen the Festergut pants instead of the T10 ones?

If it is to balance the stats to reach optimal haste / crit rates, I'd also be pleased to know how it works, at which crit or haste rate it becomes more efficient to up the other stat.

Hello guys. I've been pondering - no really I have..

I've been looking thru tons of pages on this exact thing, with no luck. I've even been inspecting several of you guys, but I'm still confused..
How valuable is armor pen and it's rating? I'm currently at 48% passive armor pen. Along with [Needle-Encrusted Scorpion] I have almost 100% on procs (96% atm)
This spec works really well as I'm usually 1 on the dps meter. I however find it harder and harder to reach that armor pen cap of 100%.

My question is. Should I just throw away [Needle-Encrusted Scorpion] and go for e.g [Herkuml War Token], hence start gemming attack power?

Can't figure if people are using [Herkuml War Token], just because it's easy to get and gives a nice and improved gear value

I don´t know, why I have been warned for asking how to socket. I have used 3 spreadsheets to see what´s the best socketing.

1. Aldriana´s spreadsheet (Mutilate)
2. iDPS
3. Rawr 3

They all say different things.

Aldriana´s says: Take AP/hast into a yellow slot
iDPS says: Take AP/hit into a yellow slot (I´ve got 503 hit atm)
Rawr says: Take Agi into a yellow slot

The problem is, that I haven´t got any idea how to serve my problem. Every guide says different things. So what is the best choice and what Spreadsheet is the one I can trust?

I'm a noob 80 hunter. Been doing Random Heroic Dungeons to improve my gear. I'm still locked out of certain Raids due to my gear. Specifically Icecrown Citadel. Is there some specific type of gear I should focus on getting in order to unlock these Raids? I'm interested in doing Icecrown because there seem to be some amazing epic bow drops.

Slow is the best by far. One GCD and everyone else gets extra GCD's. Also, we used HoJ and had zero issues on our kill.

While doing 25m ICC last night, I was adding in Heroic Strike to my rotation on single target fights such as Marrowgar and Saurfang. While doing this I noticed that my dps had dropped substantially to that of when I would normally just slam and melee swing. I swapped back to the original rotation and my dps returned to its higher numbers. I may have been using Heroic Strike wrong, but even with Incite, my dps was hurting by more than 1k. Are there specific times as to when Heroic Strike should be used? And is it a significant dps increase if used properly? I don't quite understand.

Hey. I have an MM Hunter. I am only pulling about 8k dps right now but I feel like i should be doing a lot more. My rotation is SS, CS, AS, ArS, StS, and repeat. I usually start a boss by popping Rapid Fire off the bat. I am not too sure when I should use readiness though? Any suggestions would be great.

I've been messing around with using GOD on a few specific fights, particularly Heroic Lich King. I was wondering exactly how disease damage is rolled. I put up my diseases, and assuming that I'm the only DK in the raid, do I then have to reapply my diseases in order for my diseases roll the 10% RoR modifer. Is that the same with the T10 4 piece bonus, 3% dmg?

Do Rupture ticks scale from your AP at the time Rupture was originally used or do they scale in real time (scaling to your AP at the time of the tick)?

Have had BB for a while now and just picked up FGC. I was reading that BB has a 1% proc rate and was wondering if it would be a DPS upgrade to go with the FGC even though it has ARP.

Guild just made me switch to Enh for 25 man so not sure how to use the rawr and enhSim yet.

You can no longer roll diseases.
