I'm convinced that Unchained Magic is very predictable, probably having something to do with spell power or gearscore. We had a massively undergeared mage doing Sindragosa with us tonight, and I would get unchained magic every single time. However, whenever I unequip'd my weapons, the mage would consistently get it. It was reliable 100% of the time as well. It was true across 5-6 attempts (we were doing the achievement), so I think it's too much to be a coincidence.

Macro'd rotations generally makes me uneasy due to most of the mentioned reasons,

However, there is a situation where I might consider using it.

My computer is a little slow and in 25m's I sometimes lag pretty badly,

Maybe if I did take the time to macro my rotation, my rotation would execute smoothly in game as I am lagging.

Stopped by the forums to read a bit, just a late night thought.

(provided I had infinite money the easy solution is to get a faster comp :P)

That seems extremely far-fetched. Given that pretty much every caster must have gotten it at some point, it cannot possibly be some static number like gearscore (what, really... were you serious?) or spellpower because then the same 3 people would get it consistently on every try.

It might be based on some in-fight consideration like damage or threat done. That would make more sense since people with the debuff tend to do less dps, but a quick look at Omen and/or recount will quickly dispute that as well. I'm sticking with the "it's random" theory. Not getting it for 6 tries is still well within reasonably chance.

Macro'd rotation wouldnt reapply diseases after 18.05 seconds or 21.05seconds
Macro'd rotation wouldnt apply 3 Death Coils when have time during Bloodlust/AMS etc
Macro'd rotations mean if you not magic hit capped and miss IT you've got no FF (plus speed increase for 20secs)
Macro'd rotations dont take into account movement

i've got a question, im currently using the lungbreaker (normal) and heartpiercer (normal), for more gear informations take a look at my armory link:

So my question now is, what dagger should i use in wich hand... normally the fast one MH the slow one in OH, is it worth it with heartpiercer to equip heartpiercer at mh and lungbreaker at oh?

Spreadsheet tells me LB main/HP off.

iDPS tells me the opposite.

Gonna try the HP main this week coming up and see if there's any noticeable difference.

For those of you who post "bis lists" you need to be posting if you have 10m or 25 m buffs and what your dps according to rawr is for the fight. You also need to post which race/fraction you are, depending on what race/fraction you are you will get diffrent numbers. You also need to be activating Strength or Wyrnn/Hellscreams Warsong. You need to be activating these, basically everyone is useing the buff currently and it changes the numbers a little bit depending on spec. For Bis Fire you should be getting around 17,127.91 DPS output Im a troll mage so i have bezerking buff too. For arcane you should be getting around 16,879.56 DPS.

I've been reading the forums for a while but can't seem to find anything. If this information is obvious, please excuse me. I used search in multiple threads.

Just wondering what people recommend for gemming? Obviously I've just hit 80 recently on this char, so I'm not going to spend a lot on epic gems yet.

I've seen people talk about avoidance being a very good route. Just wanting to know people's thoughts on this topic as I haven't seen a lot of it in this thread.

Hi im having Issues installing EnhanSim on windows 7 64 bit. THis is a brand new PC so i dont think it is a PC issue..

Also i think im having issues with my DPS, im pulling high 9s but i feel i should go heigher. I do FS,ES,ES but i was wondering if i should go FS,ES seeing FS is gone by the time i do my second ES.

Also the haste FS totem everytime i equip it seems to give me a DPS loss. Rawr says it is 2nd best in slot. Also i have Abomb in a jar, but Rawr says it is not as good as DV, I was wondering if i went FS totem and lilAbomb would that increase my over all DPS..

Any help would be great, i feel im very close to getting there, I just need a lil push right now.

It's pretty weird imo, because Razorice now has a 100% proc chance (isn't it?) so I would say still the other way around for more proc chance on fallen crusader.

Because Paragon are exploiting bads who don't really know how to play

to clear things up... #1 im not LAZY, #2 im not looking into the easy way out for dpsing just because im using a macro to DPS. i came to this forum late and never got a chance to learn about the deathknight mechanics from the beginning till now so im not as educated as you all are.

i came to this forum for help, not for criticizing.

now to prove that not using a macro is a dps increase can someone tell me what i should be doing on Saurfang 25man with the gear i have????
