Need Your Help

No Matter what rotation I use, that I get from differebt posts, I can't get my DPS on single Target over 2500. dp,vt,mb.SW:P mf, mf, mf, I try to keep dots up. Can you Help me? On Multible targets my dps is ok

Although this is not specifically Druid related, Healing Rain (Shaman's lvl 83 spell) almost sounds like Tranquility, but with several very significant differences. For starters, it's a targettable AoE, so it's not centered on the Shaman casting it. Secondly, it's not a channeled spell. It has a 2 second cast time and lasts 10 seconds. Not only that, but it can heal an unlimited number of targets, although it will provide diminishing returns like damage AoEs.

My first response to this was, "What?" Here's hoping Tranquility will get some loving as it's our biggest cooldown and almost never gets used.

Just to clarify a few things:

Meditation – the amount of mana you regenerate in combat as a function of your Spirit.

Also of note, you only get one set of passive talent tree bonuses: the tree in which you’ve spent the most points. Sub-speccing in another tree will not net you those bonuses in addition.

Last but not least, it's the intention of Primal Strike to let shaman play as an Enhancement at low levels. Currently when leveling in this spec, you end up just using Lightning Bolt a lot so you feel like an Elemental shaman instead. At a higher level, Primal Strike gets replaced by Storm Strike. They share a cooldown so Enhancement just won’t ever use Primal Strike after that, in the same way that Prot warriors don’t use Sunder Armor once they have Devastate or Feral druids don’t use Claw once they get Mangle.
That clears up a little of the discussion ...

Now that our Flame Shock dot is affected by haste, has anyone come up with an ideal rotation for Flame Shock/Earth Shock? I don't know about you guys but I used to use a cast sequence macro that reset every 18 seconds that goes FS -> ES -> ES repeat.

Now with roughly 900 haste, my dot runs out just over 13.5 (I think) seconds so it isn't coming down when my shock cooldown is up. Doing FS -> ES -> FS clips the last tick of the dot but FS -> ES -> ES means flame shock uptime is far lower (although damage is roughly the same as before?)

So basically...is it better to clip the dot and have a ~85% uptime on Flame Shock or just go with it the old way with two earth shocks for every flame shock?

Comparing spells can be difficult, but with a 10s duration and a 10s cooldown, it sounds to me a lot more like it fits the Wild Growth niche.

Differences:
1) Provides a buff to all players in the AoE (presumably adding or dropping the buff as they move in or out).
2) 2s Cast time, but longer duration to compensate.
3) Not a smart heal, but can probably effectively heal more players (although many current PvE raids encourage groups to spread out).

My spreadsheets are broken

About a month ago some nasty stuff started happening with my computer and I have since been unable to use the spreadsheets. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to look my character up and tell me what my gem weights are, as I've been gemming according to how my old gear weights were. Also, do those weights change drastically when I upgrade to the t10 helm?
My current dps in an optimal raid setting is 10.5k. How far off am I to what the spreadsheet says I should be doing?

Edit: Please ignore my cloak and expertise rating, I shall be changing the cloak at the first opportunity,,,, I just got the chest piece on the weekend.

i was also somewhat worried that in cata, since we'd lose our current t10 bonus how fs would be since with haste cd's or lust our fs would last for pretty much 1 lvb, didnt catch that in the warlock changes post, thank god though. biggest things as a ele shaman that pushed it over the top that i'll be seeing myself go elemental in cataclysm as well were spirit walkers grace and the fact that all fire totems will now have the spell power buff, curious as to how that will work though, will it just be a dynamic 10% buff from your spell power to the raid or 10% to each individuals spell power? or a 10% buff of your spell power at which the time the totem is dropped, since it doesnt reapply as often as demonic pact.

Flashes your action bar abilities for your rotation, or anything that proc's!! Very lightweight and doesn't consume any extra space on your UI!!... It will help you maximize your dps, or your tanking skills! Soon releasing Boomkin and Tree Forms!

How it works
  • Go to the Interface options.. Using the Pull down menu you have 6 options...
  • /sf
  • /spellflash
  • Level 80 Feral DPS / Tanking (+2 Second Refresh) - DEFAULT SETTINGS Will Flash 2 second before debuff expires! If your lower than level 80 alot of abilities wont flash, due to Savage roar not showing, and Clearcasting Proc not being available.. ect.
  • Level 80 Feral DPS / Tanking (+1 Second Refresh) - Will Flash 1 second before debuff expires! If your lower than level 80 alot of abilities wont flash, due to Savage roar not showing, and Clearcasting Proc not being available.. ect.
  • Level 80 Feral DPS / Tanking (No Refresh) - This is STRICTLY for level 80 Kitties!!! Will not Flash before debuff expires!
  • Level 75 or Lower Feral DPS - If your a druid that is leveling I recommend using this setting. Savage roar will show, but it isn't set as a priority over other abilities. So when you get Savage roar please use other setting..
  • Tree Form - This will flash your cooldowns and Proccs for healers..
  • Boomkin Form! - No thought in it as of yet..
In later updates I will try and merge all the feral dps into one setting, but for now this is just a quick fix.. Thank you for the comments!

Dire Bear Form (Released)

For the most part this Module is to sharpen your reaction as a Feral Tank!
  1. Mangle Flasehes Yellow When Berserker is Active
  2. Buffs Flash Green When not active on yourself or friendly targets
  3. Bash Flashes Blue when enemy is casting
  4. Fierie Fire Flashes when Not active on target
  5. Frenzied Regeneration Flashes Red when Low health
  6. Survival Instics Flashes Red when low health
  7. Please comment on anything you would like me to add! Thank you..

Cat Form (Beta)

I used the Priority list given by the guys at Elitist Jerks!
  1. Keep up Savage Roar - Flashes Red
  2. Keep up Mangle - Flashes White
  3. Keep up Rake - Flashes Red
  4. Use shred for CP regeneration (remember, that points 2 and 3 are more important) - Flashes Pink
  5. When at 5 CP and Rip is not up, use Rip - Flashes Red
  6. When below 30 Energy, use TF - Flashes Green*
  7. Use Clearcast Proccs for Shred - Flashes Red Color Changes when Clearcast procs
  8. When at 5 CP and Rip and SR are running with 8 seconds (might be longer, depending on your gear) or longer each, use FB - Flashes Red
  9. When Rip and SR will drop at nearly the same time (with less than 3 seconds difference), try to recognize it early. Then use SR with a small amount of CP to desynchronize both timers.
  10. Use Berserk only at high energy, (but not higher than 85) not directly after TF and as often as possible. If you will get Hysteria or some boss mechanics will enhance your damage, save it for these situations. - Flashes Pink

There's a Couple Extra's I added
Your Healing Touch will Flash green when Predator's Swiftness Proccs..
Mangle wont Flash if Trauma or Mangle is already on the target..

Release Notes

Refresh Rates are now applied to Rip, Rake, and Savage Roar.. You have 3 Options for Refresh rate.. +2 Seconds, +1 Second, or No Refresh..
More Options in options menu
Savage Roar is now fixed! (I Hope!!!)
Default Settings are for Level 80 Druids, You will have to change the settings (/sf or /Spellflash) if you are a lower level!!

Please Comment and let me know what you want me to add or if something doesnt work. I dont have a 80 druid so I cant test everything on the addon myself. Thank you

I'm REALLY hoping we get the same Deep Healing mastery stat as resto shamans got, I think that's been a long-overdue "talent" since PreBC.

Also looking forward to see if/how they're going to make haste and crit effect HoTs across the board; if everything can crit / everything is effected by haste, it'll definitely make gearing much more interesting/fun.
