Playing a discipline it is not usefull to get spirit at all?
So if i have - for example - to decide taking the ilvl 245 crafted chest i will take the int one and not the int/spirit one? [as long as there is no hit at the item]
Does haste get a significant handicap with the gc hitting 1 second?
Thanks so far

Is there a haste cap? or a point where you don't benefit from haste as you would benefit for gemming AP? I am currently sitting at 770 haste unbuffed and thinking if it's too much with raid buffs and with heroism/haste pot/hyperspeed accelerators.

A few of the spreadsheets on this forum will tell you this when you look at the calculated EP values as you upgrade your gear and sockets. There's not realistic cap for haste, but the value compared to attackpower changes depending on your setup.

I'm kinda please with the Review. They aren't changing a lot to trees, mostly 'cause we didn't need it, but we are prefect that way. Still wondering what they'll do to Lifebloom because it is not that good of a tank healing tool, granted every druid that tank heals keeps it up, but it doesn't heal enough to be considered a tool.
On a side not, anybody else feel like Efflorescece should be applied to the "bloom" of lifebloom rather than regrowth ? ?

I'll skip the formalities (read the forums for ages, never posted till now bla bla bla).
I'll start by letting you know I have no useful mathematical or theoretical contribution to make, but hopefully that doesn't invalidate this post.
Since my return to WoW after playing a Mage through all the previous content, I have been specced Holy for the majority of my raiding time (hence my current gear).
Since the recent t10 4pc buff (along with the 10% icc buff) disc has just become so good I see no point in ever speccing holy for the rest of the expansion. I've seen people discuss the use of haste for Sindragosa heroic, just gem/gear for spell power and go disc, you're so much more useful for every aspect of that fight, for virtually every fight on heroic in fact.
At the end of the day, with the size PW:S is currently at, its verging on stupid to not have that across the whole raid for pretty much all of ICC heroic.

What do you guys think about this spec ?
It's a spec currently used by the maintank of one of the best guilds on my server (so he successfuly tanked all 10 and 25 hardmodes except LK).
Also, he's wearing the Shadowmourne, and the +haste is definitely great with its ability, but I 'm not sure it's that great that he would use that spec just because of it. What do you think? Is it generaly usable?

Just like some other people I'm quite worried that the focus change in its currently planned state may cripple us in PvP. I realise that the exact focus costs are still subject to change, but Blizz seems pretty set on the general mechanic that Steady Shot will regen focus faster. SS is already hard to use in PvP when fighting anyone who knows what they're doing (ie chase the hunter), and forcing us to rely on SS to regen focus will make us even more "unbalanced" than we are now - meaning that when the hunter is allowed to stand still and nuke he is devastating but when he is chased he is crippled and harmless: this will likely just make people even more eager to lockdown and tunnelvision hunters in arenas and bgs. Also, making our vital escape tools cost focus will further encourage people to tunnel us, forcing us to spend focus on defensive abilities instead of offensive shots.
Is this huge "damage difference" between a free-firing SteadyShooting hunter and a pressured hunter really fun for anyone involved? Wouldn't it be more fun, and fair, if damage output was more constant and smoothed out between the two extremes? It would likely make hunter PvP more dynamic and less "binary".
Regarding our vital escape tools having a focus cost: it means we will constantly have to save some focus for emergencies, which feels a bit flawed. Panic buttons for all classes should really be available for use at any time at no cost other than the cooldown imo, like Vanish/Cloak/Sprint/Evasion etc. However, I can understand the focus costs of Master's Call and Disengage if they are planning to remove the cooldowns on those abilities. That, however, sounds a bit unlikely?
Giving unique abilities to pet families yet again will just continue the trend of a FotM pet ruling all others, which is a bit sad. I still miss the days when we chose our pet based on aesthetics and sentimental value alone - isn't that how it really should be? I would think it's possible to give the same basic abilities to all kinds of pets (though with differing names ie Bite/Claw etc), and offer customization and various special abilities through identical pet talent trees. Each pet could simply have three talent trees: one for tanking, one for dps, one for pvp utility. This would make any pet viable for any role, and would bring diversity back.
Isn't the new Camouflage a bit vague and pointless in its current state? Judging by GCs comments, the devs wanted to give us Camo back mainly because "hunters got so excited about it the last time" - which was understandable because back then it was essentially identical to Stealth. It's hard not to be disappointed by the new version, but at the same time this completely different design is understandable - it would simply be unfair to give stealth to second class. A reasonable (and logical) stealth for hunters would have to be something like Shadowmeld - where the hunter basically hides in one spot and waits for his pray - but, on the other hand, taking that ability away from Night Elves wouldn't be very popular either. The situation surrounding Camo is problematic and it will be interesting to see what the devs come up with in the end.
Oh, and if it was up to me I would remove Steady Shot from the game by now. It's been killing my fingers in raids for years now to have to spam it constantly (I've worn out three mousewheels with it as well). I mean, imagine if rogues had an ability that didn't cost any energy, which they had to spam every single GCD to make max damage. It's just not fun gameplay, imo!

I'm getting really weird haste values when I sim my current gear.
I recently picked up shadowmourne and the haste value seems to have skyrocketed. Is anyone else getting insane haste values or is the simulator broken?
Also shouldn't the HerkumlWarToken give a much higher value with the current values im getting for haste ? :S
