Thank you. Ya some of that I read, but didn't know why. Once I understand the "why" it sinks in a little better. But on the flip side the "why" is explained in way too much detail. So you helped, thanks.

jsut a short question.
1. should Abar be kept in the talent tree? it still seems a logical option to keep it jsut to get rid of the debuff yeah ?
2. Nebulung vs Chieftain? It seems Nebulung works very well when it procs but it sucks when you get a lot of movement fights. need some help here. thanks ^^

Well kind of like mages haste and spell together=balanced casts so your hitting faster and for more then just for more
until you get like Foreign object you slam spell power

so for DK's i would think you should do the same until you have alot of haste

Attack Power vs Agility

After updating my gear into the Mutilate Spreadsheet, it's telling me the optimal gems for almost all of my gear is Agility. From what I've been reading around the net is that I should be stacking attack power? My Gear Score is 5700 and my talent tree is 51/18/2. Should I really be gemming for agility , or keep my attack power gems?

Quick question about the tiny abom trinket...since our Icc gear seem to lack hit, is it viable to use the tiny abom (277) over war token/Heroic WFS/Heroic DC as your first trinket and DBW as your second, assuming close to BiS 277 gear. I realize it is much better for other classes like ret paladins, but is it better than those 264/258 trinkets for us?

Just in case you guys aren't aware, the links to talent builds at wowhead.com no longer work for some reason (at least on my computer/browser). You may wish to repost them for people who are looking for that info.

/cheers

I'm tryin to decide between shadow's edge or Bryntroll (264 version) for my 0 / 17 / 54 spec ... its so hard because i had Bryntroll and than switched to blood with full armor pen gems. Than got shadows edge just for the blood spec (just to find out they are making it a tank only spec) Now I am unholy again, but i read on the main post that a proc weapon would be better for this spec? Help me out here guys

-thanks

Yes, 0/17/54 is much better with proc weapons. Reason being 0/17/54 results in 20% additional haste over other specs which allows for more procs. I am currently 0/17/54, and Bryntroll currently accounts for around 4-5% of my damage on a typical fight. It varies some, but it's usually close to 4%. If you are going to spec 0/17/54 no matter what, Bryntroll is probably going to be superior for you. ArP is just not as good for UH DKs as it is for Blood. Run some Kahorie sims. It will tell you the difference.

The reason a lot of Rogues gem AP instead of agility is because of the crit cap, but gemming agility or AP depends on your specific gear, which is where the spreadsheet comes into play.

If the sheet is telling you to gem agility, it means that's how you'll see the biggest DPS increase with your specific set of gear.

Also, posting your gearscore does nothing in your effort to seek help. Your gearscore tells us about the general item levels of your gear, not about the stats on the gear; that would be like taking your truck to the mechanic, him asking what the problem is, and you telling him "It's a red 2009 Dodge Ram."

Not sure if this is because I do not have enough passive Arp on my Rogue yet but RAWR is showing that gemming AP is better for me then Arp as combat. From my understanding though Arp is better than AP for Combat until you are capped. Again this may just be do to my gear but I figured it wouldn't hurt to put it out there.

Ive done sims with both Shadow's Edge and Bryntroll, and at least for me, Shadow's Edge came out on top (usually by about 100-125 dps). However, I emphasize ArP in my gear as much as I can (Lanathel neck, Painful Death legs, Rotface 10M heroic ring, etc). Whether or not that makes a difference I dont know. But Shadow's Edge seems like a clearer choice to me if you emphasize ArP.

If you emphasize Haste (if thats possible) my guess is that Bryntroll might pull ahead.
