I currently tank with a 50/8/13 build, I used to use a real gimmick spec to try to get the most avoidance talents in 2 trees but it gimped my threat and dps a little too much and did next to nothing for my damage in (so it seemed). I tried another spec where i could icy 9 times in a row and break 50k tps, but the damage output was garbage and overall damage in was also a little high.

I can't tell you how many times DS has saved me on HM's, same with rune tap and ghoul sac. The thing that makes blood better for most HM's is the fact of tank switches VB + Rune tap is up every switch for the "OH SHIT" moments. As well as a well timed DS (hence why Epidemic is a good for 2 pts)

I don't really know where i'm going with this other than my threat is fine, I don't get gibbed, and I can save myself rather than waiting for a clutch heal.

OK how much dps increase is the four piece teir ten? And what is the DPS increase or decrease if you use rend or dont use rend? Are there other options that could ba better then tier ten if you do not do 25 mans for tokens are VOA items you can only get 2 264s. I am wondering if you had the two piece tier ten. The chest, hands, and crafter 264 legplates. Whats the increase I would get if I echanged all of that for the four piece?

I just wanted to say thank you for putting this togetherplqk. I have never seen one that works, only rumors of past ones. Like others have said, I hope this gets kept up to date as the way the data is stored changes over time. I have only had it for a couple days now, started with the version before your 4-14-10 update early in the morning and I have already fallen in love with it. Since installed originally I have made about 1200 gold in a few days time just working my two professions BS/JC. Thanks.

Alright, got a somewhat final version of the parser. You can get it from here.

So what does "somewhat final" mean : It means I finally got all the functionality I want in, but it is still untested (volunteers anyone?). The reason I am releasing it like that is because there was a somewhat significant bug (only the gold portion of the buyout was calculated) in the previous version and because I have a quite heavy business schedule over the next week or two and I'm not sure when I can fully test it this month. As always any help with checking data is appreciated.

- Some new controls including:
Setting to calculate craft price solely on AH price (exclude sub-crafting).
Settings to clean data based on % (for example - delete all data that's 500% over Average Buyout).
Updated controls for deleting date data.

- Some new conditional formatting on the "ItemsOverall" sheet to monitor the moving of prices.
- Changed the name and added version.

Hey guys, Just rerolled my warrior, trying to gear him up as a tank and I have a question

I have no Tier 10 yet, Got the 60 badge trinket first, now have 50+ badges again and was wondering. Should I start to collect Tier 10 tanking gear or...upgrade from [Platinum Mesh Cloak] To the 50 Frost Badge Cloak > [Sentinel's Winter Cloak]

I think the design intent behind Guardian of Ancient Kings bodes well. I can see Holy Shock holding 3 unique utility for each spec.

For Ret, it could apply 200% damage as a dot or have a daze for PvP. For Prot, it is an obvious snap agro tool or could provide an 'intervene' type effect for allies. You get the idea and the same applies to Crusader Strike now that it is baseline. It also holds with Blizzard's design principle of not adding more spells just for the sake of more spells.

Something unexpected is no mention of a change to the seal system. In PvE Seal of Vengeance is in a fairly good spot(target swapping is arguably a little clunky, although not too detrimental), but I was under the impression that the majority of the Retribution community wanted a change so our entire way of combat isn't so seal-reliant.

Greetings, I have a question regarding pets. According to this very thread the priority on pets for affi goes: Infernal > Dommgaurd > Felpup > Succubus > Imp > Void.
I was wondering if this remains the same to this current date with the current gear and talents. Some people have told me that for standard pet succubus with 2 points in demonic power is superior to felpup with the 2 points in imp felhunter.
Aside from that using infernal on the last minute of a fight is the best, as well as doomgaurd every single time the CD is up, correct?

Hi!

I'm seeing a lot of people saying that are back with the rupture cycle and I'm confused. Is the rupture cycle in a combat build back as viable since the last change?

I'm using Aldriana spreadsheet and with the version 1.5.1 it says that I should stick with Eviscerate, so as long as the spreadsheet says so it's cool. But I'm still confused why some people are using it...

Where can I find a BIS list for Holy pals? Preferably one for a FOL spec and a Holy Light spec.

I would also like to know if there is the option to use the high rupture spec as opposed to the eviscerate spec. I feel that only having 2 piece T10 bonus atm, high rupture might be better in my case?
