i was wondering what talents and gearing i should use? i figured use the haste pieces with a full disc 5 piece to make up the rest. The other question i had was what gems should i use? should i gem sp/stam or sp/mp5?

You may want to add on the main page that Sense Undead has to be active to get the 1% damage bonus from the Glyph.

Thank you for pointing that out, I'll change my post momentarily.

Obviously JC works out to the most additional stamina and is very versatile for my dps spec as well but after that it seems to get a bit foggy for me.

BS seems to get 60 stam
LW seems to get 62
Mining is 60
Alchemy works out to I believe 62 stam?
Enchanting is 60 stam
To describe further :
- JC , 63 bonus stam gained. Also, versatility on gemming choices.
- LW, 62 bonus stam gained. Another often-overlooked bonus for tanks is the choice of magic school resistance enchants on the bracers. This was quite useful for some hard-mode encounters, such as Sarth 3D and Iron Council hard mode. I imagine this will be useful on some ICC heroic modes or frostwyrm meta-achievement modes (Sindra, LK, etc).
- BS, 60 bonus stam gained. Also, versatility on gemming choices.
- Mining and enchanting , 60 bonus stam gained.
- Inscription , 40 bonus dodge gained (when comparing with the default Hodir enchants). Ilvl-wise, it is equivalent to 60 stam, but in reality 60 stam tend to be superior, except in probably pure avoidance set.
- Alchemy, 650 bonus HP when using Flask of Stoneblood. Due to stam scaling with buffs and talents, 650 HP is significantly inferior to 60 bonus stam.

Obviously, JC takes the top position from both pure bonus stam and versatility. For the second choice, it is either LW with 2 more stam and some versatility (resist enchants), or BS with more versatility (no resist gems though).

Info

For those that gave me some info on what I am doing wrong, I want to thank you. Please understand, I did not intend to break any rules in asking for infomation and as such I am sorry that some felt that I did by begging or hand holding. I have gotten a good amount of bad info and as such my rotation and gems and enchants is messed up. I wanted to know from what the experts thought would be a good idea of how I might correct this.

Please help!!

i am new to druid tanking, i have a feral tanking build from wowwiki for the basic raid tanking, i want to start tanking heriocs when i hit 80, but also dungeons leading to 80. I am currently level 72, and in my recent attempts to tank i have used this rotation, to pull i use faerie fire, immediately after i use mangle, then maul, then demoralizing roar, then spam swipe until maul & mangle are back up, also using faerie fire & demoralizing roar as often as possible. but I am still losing aggro, can anyone help me with this issue? Please, thank you.

My apologies for not having parses in the post, still working on getting a consistent setup with my guild so that I can get an accurate test set going on some benchmark fights. For now what I have been noticing with my current gear and setup, is that due to the nature of HaT it's very hard to tell what if anything that I should change for gems/enchants. Again, my rogue is not BiS, but if nothing else we can see some scaling at varying gear levels.

My armory link: The World of Warcraft Armory - Darthlukan @ Frostmane - Profile

I was running 19/0/52 which wasn't bad, and finally went with the current spec of 13/6/52 due to some energy starvation issues on fights with lots of target switching that were causing me to work a little harder than I was willing to keep slice up.

So far this spec and glyph combo has served me very well and depending on my T9 bonus procs and the crit status of my group requires a little less backstab and a little more hemo, but thankfully sub allows for that change without hurting too badly.
The priorities have been:

5cp SnD > 5cp Rupt (ShSing where appropriate) > 5cp Evisc using Hemo and BS where energy allows. I have been pooling energy to 75 - 85 depending on group and whether backstabbing or using hemo, again trying to guess HaT procs using topHaT as a guide.

For Shadowdance; I try to make sure that slice is either about to fall off or is freshly buffed and then:

Ambush > (5cp) SnD/Evisc > Ambush > (5cp) Evisc > Ambush > (5cp) Rupt/Evisc/SnD

By the end of that I'm usually at around 20 - 30 energy (due to regen) and have to wait for it to go back up to at least 60 where I hemo and adjust fire depending on any HaT procs that occured while pooling. Also, that rotation is not fool proof, sometimes I end up with the ability to get in an extra ambush at the end (that t9 bonus or something) and so I end with similar amounts of energy (haven't hit zero yet) and 5cps waiting to be used, feels like a curse at times, and other times a blessing.

I haven't mentioned trix much due to the fact that I am not always able to pass it to the top DPS. Reasons being that outside of my guild I have found few people that can manage their threat effectively as it is (unless it's another rogue or a hunter who happens to be in range) and so they are either dying or making life difficult on the tank and so I spend most time trixing the tank, ESPECIALLY right before shadowdance is initiated.

Also, for trash I am modifying the priority list to not rupture on mobs that die quickly (First wing ICC so far is the only place I have used rupture trash) and instead I autoattack (SnD) > FoK > Evisc (HaT procs only).

It is very hard for me to give a mathematical "rotation" with this spec because I have been playing Sub daggers since vanilla through all of the changes, and so I have developed more of a "feel" type of playstyle than one that can accurately be placed in a rotation. If there is a way, I'm not smart enough to have picked up on it. Hopefully some of you with BiS or guilds with a more diverse setup can try out what I have listed here and give some feedback.

And just to touch on it, my choice of gems: AP+Haste and Haste stacking due to my own crits not being much of an issue since my group is basically carrying me through HaT and since all other major stats are at my levels of PvE on gear or coming on gear soon. Again, you BiS guys may have a little more freedom and time to better test other setups in-game and/or support with some math as I can't seem to trust the numbers on RAWR due to the nature of HaT and my skill (or the lack thereof). Thanks, and I hope that helps. I promise I will do what I can to get some parses for some benchmark fights, I may have to pay some people to hop into a patchwerk fight with me though.

Latifa posted this script in the "Incoming Rogue Changes" thread.

/script local p="player" for i=1,40 do local _,_,_,_,_,_,_,u,_,_,s=UnitBuff(p,i) if u==p and s==59628 then CancelUnitBuff(p,i) break end end
Just tack that on to the end of your ToTT macro, once it triggers from you doing damage you hit the macro again and this cancels the threat transfer portion of it on you, while the target keeps the damage buff. Not on the GCD or anything.
