What are the best glyphs for my current stats?

Glyph of LB, ToW and Lava, or Flame Shock one instead of Lava?

ps - @ Keldion. So we should always use it even if we have less than 1,25 LB cast time, except during BL or any other haste boost effects?

Okay this may sound retarded but I just wanna make sure..
Does Scourge Strike remove the diseases like Obliterate? Im newb in DK.
And the +20% Haste from Icy Talons, isit :
a) add 20% Haste (10% haste + 20% = 30% haste)
b) add 20% haste of your original haste (EG : 10% haste + 20% = 12% haste)

For those with 4PT10, and Shadowmourne, the talent spec 0/17/54 with Reaping is the best rite?

If you are using ZAP!, the glyph comparison should be located underneath the statistics entry. Our relevant third glyph choices are Flametongue Weapon, Flame Shock, and Lava.

As for Chain Lightning, there is not a concise answer I can give as to whether its use is always beneficial. My shaman boasts 1166 haste once Bizuri's totem stacks to full. This works out to 35.56% from gear; adding in Moonkin aura and Wrath of Air, it effectively becomes 46.60%.

LB cast time: 2 / 1.466 = ~1.3643s
CL cast time: 1.5 / 1.466 = ~1.0232s
Beyond 1269 haste in these conditions, CL's cast time will be fixed at 1 second.

In this example, I can fit 5 LBs and one CL into something very close to the 8-second window, while allowing for 250 ms of latency.
(5*1.3643) + 1.0232 + 0.25 = 8.0947s

As opposed to 6 lightning bolts under the same conditions:
(6*1.3643) + 0.25 = 8.4358s

CL allows me to get even closer to the Lava Burst refresh, but YMMV. To properly evaluate CL's worth in your rotation, you will need to determine your haste under raid conditions and take latency into consideration. It is the scalpel to the LB sledgehammer, and should be used as such.

It looks like Flametongue is the one providing more DPS. Confirm / deny?

Sorry if these were recently asked, I didn't search back very far.

Two questions! As a destruction lock, when I Conflag is coming off cool down but immolate is going to drop in a 3-4 seconds, is it better to clip Immolate or use a charge of Backdraft to recast immolate? It doesn't seem like casting Incin without immolate up is practical but maybe with the 30% speed its more DPS? I hope that makes sense...

Second question, I couldn't find this in the 3.3 guide but I'll keep searching. Is 63 Spell Power on a MH still more DPS than Black Magic? I am have not looked at the proc rate and figured it out mathematically so if some knows!

But, those gear suggestions, were aimed at 258 T9 2pc vs gaining 2 more 264 2pc's, and not 232 to 251. Just from the higher amount of scaling, I would assume you would see a higher overall throughput bonus with picking up an extra 38 item levels from the Tier (and grabbing that CoH bonus, and having that 4pc as backup for when you want to be an OP disc priest :P)

At the BD/Immolate question:

From my experience I've noticed that I've been faced with the decision to use a Backdraft charge on Immolate fairly frequently. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's often enough for me to also wonder about that decision. I know clipping Immolate isn't the answer. It's a pretty substantial DPS loss to clip any dot unless you absolutely have to.

Typically what I've done has really just been to follow the priority list and use a Backdraft charge to cast Immolate. Without going into complex calculations, my thought process is: the faster Immolate gets back on the target, the faster my Chaos Bolts and Incinerates can go back to getting a 10% boost in damage. Also, if Immolate happens to be down when my Conflag is off cooldown, that's a big DPS loss too. Immolate needs to have as much uptime on the target as possible because most of my spells hinge on it. Of course, if I'm in the middle of casting an Incinerate and Immolate falls off, I'm not going to clip that spell to get Immolate on there, but you get the idea.

The Naked Warlock

Two things go into the sim craft numbers, gear and play style. As I do not have the top gear and probably never will, could someone run the different builds as a naked warlock? That way, play style and ability to choose casts can be compared to the bench marks. One might find out that wow, I suck at affliction, but I do destro pretty good. etc.

Should I let shaman roll on cloth or leather gear?

NO! (in most cases)

Main Spec + Main Gear > (Off Spec + Main Gear = Main Spec + Off Gear) > Off Spec + Off Gear

The above priority for gear holds true so long as off spec players use their off spec occasionally for increased benefit to the raid. But, in most cases, raid leaders should favor main spec players over off spec players when dealing with off gear items.

No matter the conclusion of the debate, off gear players should never be allowed to roll against main gear players. Allowing Shaman, Druids, and Paladins, to roll against cloth wearing players is extremely unfair! The reason there are more cloth drops in the game is because there are by far more cloth players in the typical raid (especially 25 man).

Disillusion of DKP
If a Shaman out rolls/out bids a Priest for a healing cloth belt, the shaman's DKP is reduced and the Priest's is not. Simple right? Not so. In the next week, a mail healing helm drops. Though the Shaman is out of DKP and the Priest is not, the Shaman would receive the loot (assuming no other healers needed), because the Priest can not wear mail. At this point, the Priest has had no items even though they have bid and the Shaman has received two items for the price of one.

Hi, im curious about the gemmin suggestions in Rawr.

I've noticed that when using iDps for gemming and gear suggestions that it will go more towards capping hit then expertise then stocking heavily upon ARP, with my spec correctly input (combat). While Rawr will suggest plain agility-gemming and sometimes suggest a yellow gem to benefit from certain bonuses.

I'm wondering wich of the two programs that are the most accurate at this. Since i started out my rogue using Rawr i've gemmed accordingly except a few cases to get meta-bonus and hit-capped. Now im starting to wonder if that was a bad choice? since iDps is suggesting totally different gems, and regemming just ti check if there is a difference in dps is an expense id rather be without atm.

Sorry if im posting this in the wrong section but i sometimes get lost viewing these forums but anyways. I just recently started playing WoW again and my main is a Resto Shaman. I quit right before Ulduar so my gear is obviously lagging behind most other people. As of now all i have been doing is farming heroics and finishing my T9 set. What else should i be doing to help me get back on track and with everyone else?

I have been taking most of my ideas from other shamans on my server that seem to know what they are doing but there are some things i can't come to a conclusion on. For instance, i am not sure which Major glyphs i should be rocking. At this point i have ES, CH, and LHW. I was thinking of replacing the LHW glyph with possibly HST since i find myself using that more often nowadays.

Any other thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.
