could it probably be an dps increase from switching from Recovered Scarlet Onslaught Cape to Might of the Ocean Serpent and/or 3/3 incite 1/2 weaponmastery to 2/3 incite 2/2 weaponmastery?

in my case the sheet says it would be an dps loss of round about 20, but it would decrease the RNG factor and some bosses turn around sometimes like putricide, so there would be a lower chance to parry

Given that the Arcane thread offers up rotations that are from before 3.2, I'm trying to find the rotation for Arcane. However, I have had people tell me three different things:

- Hit AB until MB procs, then AM.
- Hit AB until you have four stacks, then hit AM no matter what
- Hit AB until you have four stacks and a MB proc, then hit AM.

I've been doing AB until four stacks then use AM no matter what, but is this the correct rotation?

Thanks Sarvius. I'm currently respec'd into Evis and am sticking with the evis-only cycle mostly cause even the combat spreadsheet is telling me to use it atm, however any additional information would be great.

Hi.

I think the rotation is really dependable in different situations.

For example. On all pre ICC heroics you can simply spam AB on bosses.

But when it comes to raids, its a bit more complicated.

It all depend in which part of fight you are right now. How much mana you have left/how many cooldowns you can use to get mana back. Depend on your raid guild mates. For example priest spaming hymn or shamans using mana tide..

Mana wise rotation is 3x AB -> AM/MBarr
Nuking rotation ix 4x AB -> AM/Mbarr

To sustain constand dps on different fights which have a lot of aspects etc. you need just to learn how to switch your rotations. It's nothing (at least I think) You can learn here. All we can give you are tips. Rest is on you

is it ever a good idea to spam arcane blast at 4 charges?

does it increase your dps in a noticeable amount?

i know this burns mana really really fast, but does it still have a place in a boss fight?

Hello,

I have few MM Hunter questions, I have been SV since long time and never took into consideration to switch to MM but now the time has come and decided to do that.

Can anyone let me know if I should start geming ArP as I am @ 294 ArP Rating now and unfortunately I dont have any ArP Trinket available. I know that I am way below soft cap (Which I think it is 800+) and would seek your assistance.

Also should I drop AS from my DPS rotation & what is the best DPS Rotation (I am using SrS, KS, CS, AS, ArS, SS)

Raging and Empowered Deathbringer from Ony10 & 25 seems to have a higher then normal dps according to Rawr. I know they lack stats and make it up with a powerful proc but does that mean almost twice as much dps as Splintershard from Sindragosa HM like Rawr shows? Seems too much of a difference to me.

Bug or reality?

I learned today that you can stuck with "currently equipped items not available" issue even if everything, including item, gems, enchant is marked available for Optimizer, but item type (say, leather) is not selected at Tools > Refine Types of Items Listed. (Listed? But why Optimizer cares about listed items?)

So currently it behaves like this: you start the Rawr, you load up your toon from armory with assortment of downarmored BiS items (like Astrylian's Sutured Cinch or Soulthief's Braided Belt), you mark up some upgrades, you run Optimizer and it says that all these BiS items are not available for optimization, even though they are clearly marked with green diamond.

If you mean continuing to cast AB beyond 4 stacks, even if you have a MBarr proc available...no. MBarr is an extremely high dps spell, and if you have 2xT10, adding in the bonus haste proc, it makes every thing thereafter better.

So I have read that an aff. lock should change to dark pact spec once he reaches 3300+ SP, and I am wondering if that is 3300+ with 0 buffs besides fel armor, or is that while raid buffed, or if you can ever sustainably reach 3300 (glyph of life tap up takes me from 3170 to 3300+ with just fel armor.)

Should I be switching to DP now, or waiting for a bit more gear. (I have very little T10, or any ICC gear. Have 3 piece T10 so I don't wear it yet.)

Finally i found a great fury thread.
I have plodding along teaching myself and copying other fury on enhants etc.
My main problem is testing my dps compared to others as my guild dont 25man much and not many warriors.
I am averaging 7kplus in icc, 6/7k on bosses.
I suppose you could check me on armory but my gear score on there is 3192..
Is this good dps as i feel it isnt good enough to what i hear?
