I will skip the reasons, but I was unable to play from August to December. Someone recently told me I have been gemming wrong because the stats changed in my down time. I need some advice on what I should be stacking for holy and for shadow. For holy I mostly go for spellpower/spirit and for shadow spellpower/haste (though i did find some spirit gems... think i got some gear mixed up) I need to know if I should change what I am stacking, and if so what I need to be going for on both specs please.
I remember it being simmed earlier in this thread, with 2h pulling ahead by a margin of 500-1000 dps
I'd like to see that sim since I can't get them to work for me. The few times i have tried it said i should be doing 5k dps even tho on tank n spank fights I hit 10k-12k depending on my latency if I screw up.
what about glyph of howling blast? this will free the frost rune to use UA ,soemone theorycraft it before patch 3.3 and was viable but the rotation was really hard to follow but with a dps gain if played correctly.if soemone has some feedback i am glad to read it.
Has anyone else noticed something odd with the tomb targeting during flight phases on Sindragosa? I spent around 15 attempts on it last night with an average of 2 flight phases per attempt and I didn't get beaconed once. The odds of this happening are extremely low so I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this? Otherwise it was just a case of extreme luck on my part which I'm not really accustomed to
When I optimize using rawr and select "dps overall" it says I should socket all with 20 agi. and when I select "custom rotation dps" it says to socket all with arpen. Could anyone tell me why and which should I optimize for? Im aiming for single target dps.
can someone explain the theory crafting as to why you would choose the agility ashen verdict reputation ring?
People on Wowhead told me a few weeks ago that you guys weren't always right and you were wrong about the ring. Also the best warriors on my server use the strength ring.
Does the agility ring only beat the strength ring when you are exalted?
To me it seems the strength ring is better... Yes wasted stamina, but the strength + berserker stance 20% more strength seems good.
Paladins get more out of the ring because they have more use for crit and get more out of agility.
Fury warriors? I don't get it and can't find good discussion on this.
so my warrior just hit the arpen hard cap (100%). i thought i should start stacking strength and/or crit+strength gems, but a guildie says i should go for haste. what should i stack from now on?
For shadow, gem as follows:
Pure SP by default
SP / haste in yellow sockets
SP / Spi if the socket bonus is 7 SP or more
Plus obviously make sure you have at least two SP / Spi gems to activate your meta
For holy, I'm not sure. Haste or intellect depending on whether you need throughput or regen would be my best bet. Gemming for healing is a bit more of a soft science than doing so for DPS.

The Problem:
The problem people are encountering in their rotation is that when blood tap wheres off the death rune will revert to a blood rune even if it is supposed to be a death rune at that part in the rotation. This will often times revert right before you would cast obliterate.
The Solution:
In theory if we were to blood tap after pestilence then the rune would revert back to a blood rune at a point in the rotation when we expect to have 2 blood runes anyways.
The easiest way to solve this problem is to just use ua/bt after your death runes. If you prioritize oblit over km+ procs when ua is close to coming off cooldown, you should have enough time left on your dieseases that you won't miss the pestilence during the next rune set. As long as there is 10 seconds or more left on the diseases when those death runes begin their cooldown, you shouldn't miss the pestilence.
I'm new to healing on Shamans and I just had two quick questions.
When fully spec'd into, the Improved Shields talent adds 15% to mana gained from water shield orbs.
Does this effect the passive MP5 bonus gained from having Water Shield on?
Does this effect the mana gained from the Improved Water Shield talent?
Hey i have a question : and plz kaubel dont giv me a infraction this time.
If i had 4p10, and shadowmourne, 0/17/54 is better or 17/0/54?
And if i took 0/17/54, without or with reaping would be as 2 BS vs 1ScS = more hits = more soul Fragments?
So sub frost with or without reaping?
