I do this too, but up to a point. Tank DPS might not be huge, but it can make a difference. So I only "overuse" icy touch on the initial pull or when I have TPS problems

back to WoW since 5 months, i played a lot with RAWR, with my current gear (245) but also high end 264 and 277 gear.

it seems mongoose reached berserking quite close, here my results:

245 Gear + ArpTrinket: Mongoose > Berserking > Massacre
264 Gear: Massacre > Berserking > Mongoose
264 Gear + ArpTrinket: Berserking > Mongoose > Massacre
Best available Gear/DPS: Mongoose > Berserking > Massacre

anyone similar results perhaps with other Programs? Asking, cause i get into Raiding back, meaning i will change my Weapon frequently the next months, (got Upgrade from 245 to 251 today) and dont want to spend the expensie Materials for Berserking every time till my Weapon lvl Reaches 268+

Simply wondering why Mongoose is so good now, my last used Rawr Version 5 Months ago alsways showed Berserking as the best.

Assuming one is as lucky in their guild to down the lich king, is there really no way for a 00/13/58 lock to trade rigormortis for bloodsurge from 25 man without being gimped to heavily with hit gems/enchants? first time poster long time follower Madlax.

I noticed the cookie cutter post for shadow priests. Silly question, as a new lvling priest. I just reached lvl 40 and decided to duel spec to get some excitement in as a dps spec'd shadow priest. However, would anyone recommend a different build for a predominently dps pvp spec as opposed to a pvp spec? Any experienced priestly player's feedback greatly appreciated.

I always read this forum and i create my build trough this forum, IDPS, RAWAR and trough SPREEDSHEETs, but any place i founded anything about hasting.

On my Rogue The World of Warcraft Armory - Darkcid @ Warsong - Profile (Armory) i have 631 (19,24%)haste points, and 319 hit, 25 exp. My doubt is: If exist any CAP of Haste (like global cooldown),and how much it is worth spending points in haste and not in Atack Power!

Anyone can help-me

I have a question which will become irrelevant when I get Shadowmourne in a few months. However, for the time being (haven't seen a clear cut answer yet tried search too maybe I'm not searching for the right thing) which sims higher heroic Bryntoll and frost sub-spec or heroic Cryptmaker and blood sub-spec both in near BIS armor?

Also, I'd like to point out that haste probably doesn't scale with blood dps like it does with sub-spec frost unholy so if you're planning on testing or switching off between the two depending on the fight it probably wouldn't be worth it to re-gem from crit right?

I would rather disagree with a statement "going Blood with Bryntroll or Frost with Cryptmaker is simply suboptimal and should never happen". Yes, going sub-blod with bryntroll is not optimal at all, but going sub-frost with cryptmaker is not a bad thing to do - my tests on the sim and actual raid data proved sub-frost superior even with cryptmaker.

A few pages back it was mentioned that its possible to cap your gargoyles haste since it can only have a 1s cast time. Where is the haste % at its cap for gargoyle's?

With speed pots, eng gloves, and heroism all active, it would seem like overkill and at least one of those would be wasted and could be used at the second garg or after heroism to score a few more dc's when RP is maxed.

I recall that "a few pages back" it was also mentioned that it is NOT possible to cap gargoyle's haste after all which was eventually admitted by the very same person who claimed it was possible to do so to begin with. There was also a fragment of a log entry attached which showed two subsequent gargoyle attacks within 0.7-0.8 seconds of each other...
You might want to go back and check the answers to the post you're referring to.

That 1269 value actually takes into account all raid bufs. The 5% from WoA and the 3% from Moonkin Aura/Swift Retribution are factored in. This means that if you are missing either buf, you actually need more haste to reach the cap you are talking about.

Remember too, gearing for more than 1269 haste will still allow you to cast more Chain Heals in a given period so going over 1269 is not too big of a concern.

I hoped 2 hand frost would be a new opportunity for frost.
