I am sure you have probably answerd this alot but I am wondering if rupture is realy worth putting in normal rotation and if so is it worth using the glyph instead of using tott longer on you partner rogue, apart from that is that i am way under the crit cap duo to high hit And...Spreadsheet still tells me hit is better then crit.. Listen to it or just listen what sounds the best?
Just wanted to thank you for all the effort put into this.
Im an experiencied player and i thought i knew all about my rol as Unholy dps.
Reading carefull all your guide made me improve a lot and realized some facts i was unaware.
So far none of the results we have seen are statistically speaking reliable. It's just as likely that the higher crit rate that has been supposedly observed are simply variations due to RNG, and there's no logs backing them up either way. Until someone comes along with logs with perhaps upwards of 10k casts we don't actually know if this bug isn't just a interface issue.
I searched around the forum but i didn´t find the answer to my doubt. Some friends told me that to reach 100% crit chance on bosses having 100% chance to crit instn´t enoght, to have 100% crit on lvl 83 bosses i must get something around 103-105-107 percent, i want to know that becouse im reaching it actually with all buffs and during lunar eclipse can any one confirm that number for me? thyx alot =D
I play a Blood and Unholy Death Knight. I Currently have basically all BiS Gear for Both blood and unholy dks with no heroic gear. Or basically all 264 gear with WFS as my secondary trinket. I was just wondering for blood itself would Shadow's Edge be better then byrmtroll? And If I have DBW, would Hermkul' trinket be better then WFS or keep WFS. I dont have Heroic DV or regular DV atm.
Then for unholy would Byrmtroll be better because of armpen not being beneficial and Hermkul being better then DBW or should I use DBW and Hermkul or WFS?
"Clipping" a dot means reapplying it before its last tick. Although this increases your uptime (no more dot gaps), this is VERY bad for your dps. Why? Imagine a dot ticking every 3s. If you reapply it in the moment of its last tick, it is like resetting its tick counter, meaning there will be a gap of ~6s between two ticks instead of 3s. That is as bad as not reapplying it for 3s. Actually, it's even worse: You shortened its duration by one tick, meaning you have to reapply it more often, losing even more dps. So don't clip dots.
So, I understand that there is a damage from FS itself on applying, but may be we should think more about reapplying FS when 1tick left?
There's nothing to think about. There's an option in enhsim under combat parameters>refresh options. Input your stats, set refreshing FS to 0 ticks left, sim it, then set it to 1 tick left, sim it and you'll see for yourself.
Just so I am perfectly clear on this matter before I decide to regem. What is the minimum ARP i would need from gear before making this change?
These kinds of questions aren't what this thread is for. There is no generally accepted consensus on any of these issues. The simple answer is: Sim it. That will give you more accurate results than we can give you.
A few days ago while reading these forums, I saw a post about teh Bis mutilate and combat gear, saying to gem haste on the mut set. I forgot where I read this, does anyone know on what post and page cna I found this info?
I've been watching and reading the thread for some time. One thing the OP or any other post seems to cover is exactly what the GoD rotation is. A lot of talk of how tight the rotation is, but I don't seem to see where it's specifically spelled out what it is.
I have a pretty good idea of the priority of spells, but I'd like to compare my rotation to the general rotation others are using.
