Anyone notice the nerf to Spirit? 40% less effective. Does that mean inside the FSR or outside? I stack a ton of Spirit atm. and abuse the FSR. I'm expecting that after the patch I'm gonna have to replace all my Spi. enchants with +SP, and begin using two SP trinkets instead of one and MDF. How bad is it on the PTR so far.

So i was looking at a 0/51/19 +1 build...Would be using Slow/fast (silent crusader/last laugh) with FS being runic dump..
i was curious on a few things...
-IT sigil nerfed??
-Necrosis nerfed??
-Blood caked blade nerfed??
Also, has anyone tried this spec? possibly post with dps numbers/rotation or at least some insight?? I'm unable to get on the PTR to test it myself :*(

Why are you so eager to find out? It's several weeks until the patch goes live. Either test yourself or just wait, read and don't clutter this thread even more.

You should start to read not only the last 2 or 3 posts on a thread with over 100pages. On page #100 u'll find a lot of testruns and screens for a deep frost build. Alternatively use the search function.

So whats the latest with FT scaling on PTR??

what i seem to fail to understand is why players and their utility is being compared with standards that do not apply.
Being "good" player and having "awesome" buffs is what I mean.
You cant compare messi with puyol because they play in a different position and do substantially different job even though the objective always is to score,which both can do it.
Druids provide their buffs just for being there,warlocks provide it through their primary nuke.We had to provide it through dps loss(scortch).Dont care about frost mages havent seen a pve frost mage since mc days.
Btw is it possible to make a thread where theorycrafters can post current mage status/ptr etc in comparison to other dps classes,current mage bugs etc?

I think shadow of death is a bit too strong.
DKs already have great survivability atm, especially against casters which is great because they have enormous bursts, why give them a second life where you can still kill someone with 50% hp? And give them a charge and stuns and insaane crits for over 3-4k, not even my crusader strike hits for 4k in pvp.

25/5/41 (Talent Calc. at MMO-Champion)

With the changes to Scourge Strike, it should be easy to maintain good single-target TPS, while still having most of the benefits the Blood tree provides. Bonus strength and expertise should somewhat compensate for the absence of Rage of Rivendare.

The only downside that I see is the absence of raid buffs from talents.

Alandris, I believe that Rime is still mandatory for Frost tanking because of the 15% crit chance bonus to obliterate. Combined with the Guile of the Gorefiend, this is a huge TPS increase for 3 talent points.

Shadow of Death as been removed in the latest PTR build so don't fret too much.

Previous posts mentioned the EGG bug was fixed!! I did not see any difference. Last night in NAxx 25 man the EGG procced 180 times(measured with Procodile) wheras my standard Sundial did 210 times.
